  5. Ya... Im good friends with "Korny". It is similar but not quit the same. Ill see how i like this mold. I ordered Mustad because that seems to be the best hook for the money. I am going to get some of those Gamakatsu wid gaps though. Just want to puor a few first1

  7. Wow... This is what makes this site great!!!! Thank you ALL! On another note what is the easiest way to paint them?
  8. Hello, We have a jig out here in N Cali called the Wadda Jig. I want to know what style head this is as i really like it and want to get a mold that resembles it. This link says it is an arkie stlye, but i think it is flatter on the bottom than a true arkie. Any suggestions would be great! www.tackletour.com/reviewtntwadda.html
  9. LOL! I KNOW! I thought that was pretty funny but hey what can ya do. All of those are before my time except the excaliburs, so its fun to look at them. We should have a Vintage page in the gallery and put all the replicas of vintage lures in there.
  10. No buy some glass worm rattles and epoxy them in. Go with the biggest rattle you can put in it.

Man that thing is sweet!!! Love the little scales under the foil. I cant find a pattern that small. What did you use?
  19. Looks great Kyle... Im sorry i got you started in this because now you dad is going to kill me now! But one of these days were not on the water you guys should come over and use all my equipment. I have a few different types of wood to choose from and i have already made all the mistakes in the books!
  20. No i have only thrown it in a pool as the epoxy wasnt cured on saturday. I have a tournament this Sat coming up and i might try it for a bit there. But as for the Ballast..... I dont have a scale so all this was trial and error... but i would say that 50% of the total ballast went on the head as close to the rear hinge as i could make it. in the mid section i put 30% as close to the front hinge as i could. and the tail got 20% as close to the front hinge... It falls perfectally horizontall with a wobble much like a senko or stick bait. But i do need a little more weight in the nose because on a mid to fast retreive it comes up too fast. on a real slow retrieve it will stay about 5ft down. I will try to take a video on thursday as i have school on tue and wed. tonight is homework night! So here is a simple fishy...the left is the nose under i have the ballast locations; <:::::-:::-:::>< ....*^.^...^*.... ^ = ballast * = Hooks I am going to try another replica only because i want to move the weight in the head all the way forward. I think this will keep it stationary and only the mid and tail will move. Right now it swims with a "S" motion and Wobbles a bit (I like it). When i measured the model to be copied it had dimensions like this(if i remember correctly)... Head was about 43% total length, Mid was about 24% and the tail was about 33%.
  21. Well as reccomended i copied the tripple trout and it works great. Now comes the hard part of figuring out what the differences are.... Here is the pic in the gallery... http://www.tackleunderground.com/photos/index.php?n=1494
