  2. I get this stuff called Xylol Xyleen. I think its made by Kleen Strip and sold at Lowe's or Home Depot. It is very strong so a mask is recommended. TJ
  3. Old Man, Since you are providing everthing, I would say 5 cents each would be a fair price. I have had inlaws do this during recovery periods from various injuries and what not. i just didn't allow any of the youngsters work with the lead. TJ
  4. Thanks Bruce, I have been talking to Chris at Al's Worms about a poll to narrow down the location. I don't know how to go about putting one up. Anything to light a fire under this thing would be appreciated. Already getting support from the more experiences members. Thanks again TJ

  6. Tony, Sounds like too much paint. This is where a fluid bed really shines. If you are already using one, maybe too huch heat. I cure mine at a lower temp for a longer time. Works well for me. No more nipples. TJ

  13. Garret, I just got my order in and it all looks great. Haven't tied anything yet. I usually use two pads per jig and I use frog's hair for 1/4 oz jigs and smaller. They have some pretty good quantity discounts. TJ
  14. Senkoman85, Here is a site that someone here turned me onto. http://www.oldlure.com/index.html TJ
  15. Ryan, You can try running a comb or a styling brush through them. The brush has the large individual bristols with the small beads on the ends. Hope this helps. TJ
  16. One other thing you might try, but it can be HAZARDOUS. You will need heavy leather gloves, long sleeves and some safety glasses. Try holding the mold up tight to the pot nipple, it usually fits right in the pour hole. When you pour, the cavity will fill and so will the pour hole. This is where sometimes you get a slight splatter and where the safety gear comes into play. It acts kind of like an injector. NOT TO BE DONE WITHOUT PROTECTION. TJ
  17. Chuck, Try smoking the cavities. Hold the open mold over a candle or propane BBQ starter until the cavity turns black then try pouring as usual. This has worked for me on stubborn molds. You may also have to tip the mold a bit to get a straight path for the lead. TJ
  18. Try that Spike-It blade dip. You can even make nickle hooks red or black or purple or........ TJ
  19. Wow Pete, That was intense. I really hadn't thought much of using Windex even though I have read a lot about it here. I'll have to give it a try. TJ

  22. Squigster, I have poured their stick mold with success, but not the grub. I don't think it would work too well because of the bent of the tail and I tossed the injector. TJ
