  1. I like the weedguards for ease of use. That welded end is is great for keeping epoxy from wicking. I make a lot of finesse jigs out here in the west and they don't carry the 5/64 size that I need. They were more expensive in the past, but I haven't priced Kayser in a while.
  2. I used to spray epoxy on jigs and spinnerbaits all the time. I would mix the epoxy first and then thin 50/50 with Xyleen. I would spray it through a basic Badger siphon airbrush and get nice thin coats that didn't need turning. The finish was as durable as anything else. Then I discovered powder and the rest is history.
  3. Thanks Ben and let me echo this wonderful message.
  4. What kind of jigheads are you looking for, size, hooks etc.? Is it going to be dollar for dollar? I'm interested.

Mark, there is a crack with you whether you like it or not.
  6. Probably the best info would come from unpaintedlures.com. Try contacting them.
  7. Columbia Coatings has a product called Powder Water that turns your powder to a liquid. You can spray this with a single stage external mix airbrush. It also allows you to use conventional masking methods. You may need to do a short bake between colors, but you may get the effects you want.
  8. I have shipped overseas on several occasions without any problems. I always added insurance just to be safe.
  9. I tried this with my hobby blaster. I used 220 grit media with the pressure turned up to 95 psi. It managed to dull the paint and the finish on the hook eye. After repeated passes it did not get through the paint. For me, the time spent and the materials used were not worth the results. I get faster results with some paint stripper. Maybe some more aggressive media would work better.
  10. Dave, I'll try one this weekend and let you know.
  11. I use the green high temp tape to cover the eye before I paint. Keeps it clean so no need to clear it out later.
  12. No Hi-lite, but the glitter is https://www.ispikeit.com/Store/p-831-sparkle-violet-4223-hexagonal-cut-0015.aspx
  13. Look at some Paul Adams videos on Utube. He has some great how to tutorials.
  14. I found these from China. https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=195413337562478&set=a.109145616189251.1073741828.100012814385939&type=3&theater
  15. I have had these for many years and I could not find they on the Lucky Craft site.
  16. Lucky Craft also has one called Laser Dots Transfer Decals. I have one package left, but the original UPC is unreadable. May try contacting Lucky Craft on Monday.
  17. Take an old toothbrush and some Dawn to it and see if that helps.
  18. Call Kim at Lurecraft and tell what you are looking for and see if she has it.
  19. It sure is http://bearsbaits.com/4-RIVER-SWARMER_p_272.html
