  1. Saugerman What happened to Harville ?? Just had not seen or heard of them in several years. They built a lot of stuff for a lot of people.
  2. Divided Cup . hand pour
  3. I Second what Mark says .... Dip it hook first .. Swish ... use a small brush to clean the dust off of the hook ... set to go.
  4. As far a I know this has all ways been the problem from day 1 .... That is with "Hot Melt" Plastisols. Some have been made with a vinyl that does not have this reaction ... Powder Paint and Epoxy are the only solution when touching some thing that will react and this coating can be applied. ... Certain types of Plastic Boxes from the old days were really bad about this "melting" ... Thank goodness they have change some boxes to a formulation that will not react to "Hot Melt" ...
  5. I think in another thread it was mentioned that I had up loaded the information some time back and the URL is there. Maybe a week or so before I can help out any more .. Dealing with my wife's health problems at the present and is taking all of my time except for a few minutes here and there.

Years ago I had a federal Biologist give me a good inside lesson. The Biologist gets out busts his butt doing research and etc. gets all the nitty gritty .... then the politicians get a hold of it and change it so that it suits there political plans ... A lot of logic on these various subjects and the politicians twist it to suit them selves... I could really get on my "Soap Box" about this but will bite my tongue .. I think most of you guys understand this subject.
  11. Bojon never made a book but had an excellent cd/quick time and also some information in PDF format.
  12. What Smalljaw said plus insulation off of electrical wire or leader sleeves will all work as well
  13. Look at the bottom of the jug and I think you will find a heavy coating ... gotta mix it well.
  14. Sounds like your pot is not getting hot enough ... bad thermostat ?? Would send it back to Lee.
  15. Make a search and you will find more on this subject than you mite want to know
  16. Lot of "Scorched" white would be fine
  17. Man that is outstanding !!!!!!!!
  18. Good thread and I have about .02 cents worth to add. I purchased the "Craftsman Cutter" in the early 80's Have made many thousands of cuts using coated/uncoated braided & solid stainless .. Braid Uncoated up to 135# test .. Stainless 40 thousandths ... many thousands of leader rigs, weed guards, spinner shafts & etc. Still going strong. I had a return spring that wore out some where along the line and I have not checked Sears to see what they have in this type cutter at the present. I would give it 10 plus star out of 5.
  19. Ditto Smallmouth .. xcept for one thing .. I use the heat gun on 1/8 and smaller ... otherwise its the torch. Just do not see where heating a bunch at one time can save you any time .. frying pan I would follow along with what most have said .. hot on one side cool on the other and if you get to hot .. well you know what will happen.
  20. "Kinda like trying to figure out why the fish are doing what they're doing" Now Mark if U can figure that out let me know ... Colors are a lot easier than trying to figure the fish out
