  1. Saga .. Glad you came in on this one. I do have one question .... Will harder Lead shrink more than the softer?? I have noticed this more on big molds when they get hot. (which you brought out). Good Thread Thanx JSC
  2. I belive it is in the hardness of the metal ... add some soft to what you are using and I think that will help. I know some of the others will add to this. JSC
  3. Hi So far the pick up has not been made .. I got thru to them .. I think it was Friday (19th) ... I got thru to them about 915 CDT ... Even if mine was OK but a possible problem I want it replaced. The Tech told me that they would ship a new one out the day they get the returned one in. Will let Yall know the progress. JSC
  4. For those of you who are using the HT3500 and purchased it within the last couple of years. There is a recall on them ... got a E Mail from Amazon yesterday .. call Wagner and they will send you a USP pick up label ... will send you a new one on recipe of your old one. Mine is packed up waiting on the label. Call 1-888-925-6244 (may have to wait on hold a while) Yesterday they did not have anything on their Web Site about it. Hope this helps some one. JSC
  5. I had some (Southern Plastic) 5 gal bucket .... over 35 years and it was well setteled out ... but .. with enough mixing worked fine .... I had a lot of Paste and liquid colorants from then and all but 1 can was OK (the one can lid was not tight enough and it dried out .. It was paste). Biggest thing as mentioned before is that it will settle out and takes some mixing to get it into condition to work with. My Hope that helps Have fun JSC

  7. I think every one agrees according to their past experance and .. I 2nd it. It has to go from liquid to a thick jelly to thin and ready to pour. You can overheat but will mostly only be off color ... unless you over heat and catch it on fire ... Don't breathe the fumes from Plastisol that is burning or has burnt ... The plastisol you have in the mold ... pour it back into the pyrex and start over. WIPE THE MOLD OUT GOOD AND DRY. Have Fun and let us know how it turns out. JSC
  8. This has been a good thread .. I have all ways adjusted the "Arm" so that the blade on it would spin .. Thought it was suppose to but .. I see that some of you have been just letting it wobble .. Even ones I have bought thru the years I have all ways adjusted it so that both blades were spinning. Good Stuff Thanx JSC

  16. "I think JSC has it going on...typical SB frame, just add beads and sleeves...very nice! " Thanx It took a little tweaking ... I am really a "Single Spin" person ... make a few with a small Colorado or Indiana up front with a larger Indiana or Coloradao as the main blade .. but just had to give this a "Shot" .. maybe I will give it a try on the next trip .. 19. ""need to drill a hole into a thimble and hold it with pliars over the pour spout while pouring to kill the upper plastic contraction. Vent and thimble -- thanks for the ideas! Senkosam"" Hi Senko I must be a little "Slow" but clear up the "Thimble" part of this. Thanx in advance. JSC
  20. I am going to see if I can attach a file this way .. could not the other

    Sorry about that

  21. The Blade on the "Shaft" Should spin But .... Only if it is"Small " enough ... in this case the Willow is long enough Not to, due to the "Tight" Spin of the Willow ... The best to spin on the "Shaft" is a small Colorado Blade (small in relationship to all variables) JSC
  22. Lookin Good "Z" JSC
  23. Had this idea for this thread and just got around to it. I had to Tweak it a little from what you see here .. With a longer Arm it can be made to run perfect. I am not a big Willow Leaf or double spinner bait person, but this will work 2 beads and 2 Leader Sleeves. JSC
