  1. A picture would help .... is the front blade "Banging" into the back blade ? Willows spin tight ... Really need to see it. JSC
  2. Harbour Freight had 4 colors ... cheap Hope this helps JSC
  3. Ditto MT Smallie stuff like raw plastic, coloring, glitter .. etc are basicly "Raw Materials" .. The law is real sticky when it comes to what is taxable ... Example .. I thought that if you sold a plastic worm __With Out a Hook__ that it would be exempt ... Tom Mann and I had talked about it and afterwards he went to court with it .. we were wrong .. judge said it would ATTRACT a fish .. that is all it has to do is ATTRACT ... spinner blades is another example ... B U T having said that --- split rings, swiveles & etc are taxable ... Go Figure. On keeping up with it for verification have the INVOICE. Hope I did not confuse the issue to much. JSC After thought ----- maybe some one has the answer ... are Scents taxable ??? (I hope I did not open a "Can of Worms")
  4. Thanx MT .. you simplified it as I was trying to do to start with. I think that this thread has been a good airing out ... Bojon has developed the Horozontal Dipping down to a "T" ... A person can read all the threads on the subject (and you can tell when they have) and still cannot get the picture of this process with out seeing Bojn's CD and if you can place a value on the CD it is way under priced ... It is done in a way that it would not be suitable for a web site on its on ... I hope the Air is cleared. Later Guys JSC
  5. Get One of Bojons CDs .... I think it will answer most all of your questions on dipping tubes. JSC
  6. If You purchase a component and you do not have a Tax Exempt Form filed with them you will be charged the 10% which ... with proof ... you can deduct from your Excise Tax Payment. Make sure you have the necessary paperwork to back it up. Some times on small component purchases it can be better to go ahead and pay and forget about it due to the time and paperwork to keep up with it. The best thing is to have an Exempt Form filed with your suppliers of components if you buy in large quanity . .02 cents worth JSC
  7. Oxidation of the LEAD is better worded than corrode (Lead not Plastic). I worked with this many years ago and found it was best to coat the lead with epoxy paint ... now with powder paint is better and if you work your colors with traslucent plastic colors you can relly get some great results. I have noticed that not all lead inserts will have this action ... I think it is affected by the humidity of the atmosphere when it is molded in... for all that i do now I make sure I have them powder painted and work the color in with the lure color for the best effect .. Incidently I noticed back in the old days of using Lacquer that you could get this oxidation even after a good prep of the metal ... My JSC
  8. Powder Paint or Expoy coat the led to keep the corrosion down. JSC

  15. I think you will find that Shortys has the best prices as long as you buy in the Qtys ... They are generaly cheaper than the mfg "Starting Price" ... You will need FET # for the 10% not to be added to the cost. JSC
  16. I think you will find that the scent is bleeding out of the bag ... Try a laminated bag to hold the scent. JSC
  17. George I use powder paint ... it is resistant to the plastic solvents .... Really what you get unpainted is corrison action and not all ways but to be on the safe side powder paint ... far faster than epoxy and can vary the color ... Hope that helps JSC
  18. Let us know how it turns out. JSC
  19. It is the bag ... Get some Laminate bags .. they will hold the oil in. Hoipe that helps JSC
  20. Clear coat over eyes will work but ... you have to watch and not get to hot or bake to long. JSC

  22. Or #3 and just use Super Glue. JSC
  23. Looking good I noticed the 2 containers on the right ... if they are plastic would not let your baits stay in them to long ... you could get a reaction out of them .. JSC
