What you are looking for are Leader Sleeves.
The ones I have in nickle are for smaller than .030 wire ... (I use some really light wire on my spinner baits).
They are available for large qtys only you can get them from ROSCO.
When I get a chance I will look up the sizes ... They make them in a lot of sizes and finishes .. I use a lot of them in makeing a saltwater ready rig ... use a black one for this ...

It has been well documented that the Lee Pot Temp Controls will vary among them ... Have worked with 2 and found this out. Search the Forum for info and I think there is a Sticky ... The info you want is adding a rehostat to the set up ... I would read every thing You can find on Lees Plastic Pouring Pots ... for detail work they aree great .... Use them as a pouring device ... Cook your Plastisol in the Micro Wave ... Flakes are the hardest as they must be constantly stirred and they can restrict the flow.

Every thing V man said plus the standard mark up for the tackle industry ::
Retailer 40% on what he sells it for (Sell for $1 cost .60).
Wholesaler buys (standard with out other discounts) is 50% & 10% off of SRP (sugested retail price) which he sells to the dealer as above 40% off of SRP.
A mfg sales rep gets 10% if you have one.
The above is basic .. remember what you are selling has to be competitive with in reason.

I can understand some one wanting to protect their work but there is a line you cross when you are looking for help ... looks like it has been crossed.

Man that is a great looking bait and I like all of the innovative ways that you made it and the jig head .... That design is great not only would it be great in a smaller size for a trailer but as a buzz bait for working over grass and pads ....
Again Great Job

If it is the regular IRS - Excise Tax person ... all I have ever had to show them were my sales and 720s that I have from the time I have been filing 720s .. they will check the part that they are interested in ... but have them all ... also if you have paid excise tax on any supplies you will need proof of that ,,,,, Now if it is for income tax now that is a whole different thing ...
Let us know when they finish up. I think you will find that it will be a snap ..
JSC
After rereading I see that they are coming to see if you are eligible ... my error ...
never got checked that way ...

In order to get the most plastic out of a pour I have my table set with a slight drop towards the spout and as soon as it gets below the paddle I cut the stirrer off and "Chock Up" the back so that all the plastic is on the spout end ... very little not used ... yes with glitter on the last few drops I have to stir it some .. Not using salt at the present .. no advice there.
That is solid looking set up.

I'm with Del on this out of country .. which are a large part "Rackets".
Now on what Mike brought up ... I think the process that he is speaking of is using the old cure in the mold Vinly Pastisol .. cooked quite a bit of it back in the old days before we could get the "Hot Melt" ... I would heat the mold .. pour with a "Katsup" type bottle (Could do some super multi color pours) after the pour place in an oven for the final cure .. take out toss into a bucket of water for a quick cool and strip the mold ... start all over again ... I understand the old Sportsman Worms (Catch Em Quick) whcih turned out a full round worm with this same plastic ... molds were set up open (they were hinged) on a conveyer belt and for there most popular color ( was a spotted worm ) would spray the plastisol thru a screen in the process of going thru a heat tunnel of ultra violet lights ... then the main color was poured allowed to heat so long and at a certain point the mold was quickly closed binding the 2 halves ... then after curing out the other end cooled and had "Fingers" to drag the worms out ... (they were one of the first to have "Floater" worms .. used a "Blowing" agent) I have used the same blowing agent to make my old "Heavy Head" Worm ... had a hard head with a weedless hook molded in and the remainder of the worm was made with soft plastic with the "Blowing Agent" would all ways stand dead on its nose Tail floating straight up ..
A lot of the older (maybe now) Bettles for Bettele spins used the same type plastic and is why they can make so many great color combonations. (I think .. correct me if I am wrong ... but the old Carolina Mfg was done this way)
So it is possible that a type squgee could be used with this type plastic ..

"According to the IRS web site, Exise taxes seem to really spin around fuel??"
You only saw part of it ... The Old Dingle-Johnson Bill is the bill that added a 10% Excise tax to Fishing Tackle ... be advised you need to get all of that straight ...

Make sure you have records of all the sales and purchase expenses you have had .... Much as I hate to say this "Ignorance of the Law is no Excuse" at least that it was I have been told a time or two.
