  1. SHK is correct. The colors and patterns are airbrushed through homemade stencils. Somewhat time consuming but not bad whan you do a hundred or so at a time.
  2. 10 cavity Del-mart hand pour 4.25 stick mold. Originally cost $159.50, asking $125.00. Will include custom made 2 port injection adapter. Each port fills 5 cavities at a time. Contact me at vinnerbaits2@live.com for any questions or for additional photos.
  3. I know a little about that company
  4. Thanks you sir, very helpful!
  5. Wondering if any of you who have used this mold know if the hooks and wires are limited to the ones on Do-its site? Can any 35 degree hook be used in this mold? Can those hooks that Do-it lists as the hooks be puchased anywhere other than thru Do-it? Same with the wire weedguard? Thanks for any info. Vinny
  6. You know Jim its funny...if you look at my original post I wasn't far off, the version I looked at was a lighter shade and "pearly" looking. I wound up changing yours by adding a smidge of white pearl and 2 drops of LC strawberryand found a happy medium. Will post picture when camera battery isn't screaming "Im dead moron" anymore. Hahaa
  7. Nice JIm, thanks. The color in the picture he sent was closer to the Gulp version, which is like another said,"redder". I used yours and he loved the pictures I sent... Going with yours...I have always liked the "purple" version better myself...closer to culprits version of the color. I owe you one dude! Anytime you need a sounding board just ask, I will be glad to help. You have always been willing to lend a hand, I appreciate it buddy.
  8. Does anyone have a recipe they can share with me for the purple half of tequila sunrise? I have a customer request for it and I am having trouble with it looking right. I have tried starting with white pearl pwdr, black -grape and violet hi-lite and it does not look right, close but not right. Any ideas. Thanks
  9. I once got fair results by dipping the head into a small cup with glitter immediately after second dip in your colored plastic, than dipping into clear for your third dip to seal it. Haven't played with it since as I don't sell tubes. Might be worth playing with? If you are injecting your tubes, you could always sprinkle glitter by hand into the mold cavity before injecting. A small squirt of pam or something might help the glitter stick to the mold cavity. This method does require some cleanup on the mold however. Good luck.
  10. Works like a charm...thanks much.
  11. Anyone know why I cannot edit/update a classified that I started?

  18. I ordered from them last week and had my stuff in 5 days. They are under new ownership so I am sure they are trying to do right by us. Just ordered again today, will keep you posted.
  19. Very interesting idea,I would love to see the action on them in the water. I would think you would need a swivel up front to control line twist. Nice job!

    A few more

Thanks all. Pancho, I am using LC soft plastic paints. FYI they need to be thinned alot and also need alot of retarder in order to spray thru an airbrush. As far as prep goes..I was bulk hand pouring all of the bodies, laying them out nicely in a plastic tub, and then painting 2 hundred or so at a time. I was having a severe problem with them getting slippery with oils. Just informed by Bear that it was a known problem with the plastic. I was putting them in the sink filled with warm water and dishwashing detergent and washing them off, than towel drying them. What a pain in the rump... At that point the paint sticks like a charm.
