    thanks for the idea...........i'll try with no weight as well as different positions for line ties and see how it works.............i don't expect a lure with this design would have any great action to it anyway...... nugene

    I AM MAKING A COUPLE SOUTH BEND VAC LURES AND I WANT TO KNOW WHERE THE WEIGHT IS PLACED(HOW FAR FROM REAR) AND HOW THE LURE SITS IN THE WATER...........IS NOSE UP OR FLAT?????????I THINK I COULD FIGURE IT OUT IF I KNEW THIS.........THANKS NUGENE
