  1. If not that, then createx makes a brush cleaner that you dilute with two parts water and it works like a charm.
  2. Has anyone ever done this before. I booked a week of remote ecstasy up here and was wondering if anyone would like to discuss this, or pike fishing in Canada in general. Thanks guys
  3. It all depends on the fish you're going for. In canada, many people suggest snapping your spoon back, or pulling it back in mid air about 3 feet before it hits the water. This causes a tremendous splash and really gets them excited.
  4. Definitely the dual is better for glides. It gives them a beautiful sweep that cannot be match by a single wight center. I Do like the action a single weight axis gives to a diver. Its a very interesting flow
  5. I someone feared that they have perhaps gotten eater into a bait, could they dip it in alcohol on order to get any possible moisture out? I don't feel like going further with it unless I know it will be there for the long run...
  6. I bet if you built a little mouse harness and floated one out there, you would get a slob!
  7. love your lures. They are so clean and end up looking better than any bait you could buy at the store
  8. those are cool. what's with the wire on the front eyelet going to the back? are those leaders?
  9. I like those a lot. It must take a lot of tie to change each color to make the cool effect around the belly and back on the bluegill
  10. thats' a great bait. That thing must make a lot of wake.
  11. beautiful fish!!! my god I wish we had fish like that where I am!
  12. yeah. But hey, on a muskie lake w/ pike, you gotta love the consistent action if the muskies aren't biting. Big Sand Lake in Vilas County Wisconsin has soooo many hammer handle pike, you sometimes wonder whether you would catch more muskie if they weren't always tying up the lines!
  13. I'm gonna try to mix my passions and get a job in fisheries biology or a job with the ever dreaded DNR!!!
  14. Well you win some and you lose some. When I was little I would cry and cry if my brother caught more than me, but I could smoke him now! (knock on wood) From that picture you look about my age. what school or work do you do? I'm at Madison currently. tight lines!
  15. MastaRapp, love the order, but the pike and muskie go hand in hand most of the time! Angler310, I have never thought about fishing while I am in Maine. Are there any large reservoirs or is it mostly small lakes? I heard about the muskies eating all the landlocked salmon in the lakes (sorry to hear that) so those lakes must be pretty huge!
  16. Spartacus, those are some handsome bass you got there! were they on home made un's?
  17. I am painting a musky sized shad bait and found some really cool silver enamel for models. I am planning on spraying that for the side, white on the belly (naturally), black on the top, a strip of iridescent blue underneath the black, a black head that I will spray the face over with silver. Thats the gist of what I am going to do. But I want to do mesh scales. what color should I spray under the silver enamel for the scale accent? I don't want to steal any creativity, I just can't spit any out for myself... Oh, and I'm not so good at the step of the mesh style scales, so any steps or when I should spray the color for the scale accent in relation to the other colors would be helpful... thanks a ton guys!
  18. You need to have cookies enabled in order to have the Remember Me feature work!
  19. good looking bait! looks like it has great action
  20. I would love to start signing baits. Would you have to put another layer of clearcoat over the signature?
  21. Thanks a lot cadman. I was really confused as to what to use and that summed it up. I know I'll be able to get my hands on it and can't wait to start using it
  22. that's a nice first job! I like the creative color choice. I have trouble thinking of different color combinations and usually end up going too natural...
  23. Is auto air higher quality than Createx?
