    New bluegill colors

Wow........love the color scheme, especially the far left. Will probably use that color on my next paint (or attempt !!!) Thanks, great job.
  4. Great Colors ........should be a winner!!! What is the body type,,,????
  5. Thanks for the replies.....the bodies (which i've yet to purchase) are approximately 2 1/2 - 2 3/4 inches in a bluegill shape. Believe I'll have a go at both methods..see which works to my satisfaction...thanks again, surfk9
  6. Gentleman..have a question about balsa bodies...i've made my own bodies (pine, basswood, redwood, poplar & oak) but am considering purchasing pre-shaped balsa bodies.....can i use screw eyes or do I need to split them in half and thru wire them...seems like it would be kind of sketchy cutting a pre shaped body in half ...any suggestions???Thanks surfk9
  7. Very Nice..........wouldn't mind having either of these in my spinnerbait arsenal.......really like the incorporation of the saddle with the living rubber.....great color combo's....i'm mostly in the hardbait haunts, but can appreciate dedication and nice baits anywhere. surfk9

    green crackle craw

Wow ....outside the box again.love the "crackle" but the "eyes" have it !!! will have to borrow your idea, so simple but sometimes we just don't see the obvious.

  10. Hey guys...is Pledge w/ FUTURE SHINE premium floor polish what I want??? Pricey stuff $10 @ CVS for 27 oz. guess it will last a small lifetime ....hopefully it will benefit my painting....it could use some help at times thanks surfk9
  11. Not quite sure of the correct nomenclature for the bar at the bottom of a page that allows for left/right movement of the text, but I haven't had the pleasure of that bar the last few times i've logged on...makes it difficult to read post not being able to see the right side. any suggestions??? (it doesn't happen on any other site)

  15. Hey Bob guess I'll have to check out the brite-back....i've used the aluminum tape on my larger cranks(4-5 inchers) and on some jointed baits (up to 10")thanks for the heads up!!!!! surfk9
  16. I've bought foil tape in 2inch & 4inch rolls at Home Depot....most stores of that nature would probably carry something similar usually in the plumbing/sheet metal dept's.
  17. I would suggest that you use the 30 minute...gives more working time. I doubt that you could do anything with 5 minute, except set line ties, hook eyes, etc. As for the DA i feel it's a personal thing that you will discover for yourself.i've done it both ways,with/without...using DA allows for a somewhat easier "flow" but again it comes down to personal choice depending on lure size ambient room temp etc. good luck!
