  1. Its very worth it for fishing. When things get tough or you need to cover water, you can just reel it in ticking the bottom. Very effective. Put biffle bugs, beavers, menace, anything you want on them.
  2. Looks like knuckle down jigs old head

    The Visit

George - thanks for the great information. I have always wanted to visit Hook Solutions. I am researching the electrostatic equipment, and dont even know where to start. Could you enlighten us on some things that you learned? How does it work, and where can I find more information.

  6. Lived in Wichita for 6 years. Great people to work with. Helped me get started. Many of the smaller tackle shops in KS/ MO/ and AR are the best to deal with by phone for prices. Here is another to call for supplies: Mertens Bait and Tackle - Jefferson City, MO google them and give them a call. They have all the old molds too.
  7. Matt - sorry for late reply, I've been super busy. I modified some molds like you said and Im in business. Its nice to add ANOTHER jig to the arsenal. Problem is I cant fish all the jigs i have in one day, too many options. : ) Stay Warm up there in Missouri guys. - Its a nice 50 some in central texas right now. If anyone is coming down shot me an email. jarodjigs@gmail.com
  8. I got a hold of the Paycheck Punch Skirts and they are a skirt of their own. yes you can do the same concept with a hole in one skirt, a lure body, or a skirt umbrella, but believe me, these are a skirt of their own and are only made to put your line through. they have a very, very hard small round bead, that the skirt is actually tied in with thread some how. Now I say the bead is too hard to put on a jig or spinnerbait, but I have not tried it, but just by holding it, it seems like it is just for the line. Its the Hottest thing in the tackle stores right now and extra HOT in California. Jarod
  9. Matt, Thanks for the GREAT info, I was about the really jack up some molds. Now If I can just perfect a 1/2 and bigger round head mold that will take a flat eye, I'll be in business. I have really been messing some molds up lately, time to find a professional. Jarod
  10. Hey guys, Im pasting an email I just got from a guy that has started a Tungsten Weight Distro busines: His website is JUST starting, but he will email you a price sheet/order form. Check him out - Jarod, I started this business because I also wanted to buy in bulk, and was tired of paying high prices. I have had to start my business off slow, buying in relatively low quantity, so selling wholesale is not an option for me at this time. As my volume grows and my cost comes down that may be an option in the future. Attaches is one of my order forms. My online ordering will hopefully be up in a few weeks. Let me know if you have further questions. For your jigs, you would have to have the heads made, and then glue them to the hook. Tungsten parts are made in a cast and sintered process which heats them to several thousand degrees. It is not possible to cast them to the hook like lead. The jig heads could be made in 2 halves and then glued together around the hook before finishing. I am pretty sure this is how others are doing it.
