  1. I'm pretty excited, at the Chesapeake Bay BASS Northerns my good freind Curtis Richardson on Bellville Ontario Canada placed 2nd on a really tough weekend , Curtis was on a good smallie pattern with my drop-shot baits, cool to see what I started 3 years ago doing damage!
  2. Hi Zbass yes I live in Innisfil Ont. beside Lake Simcoe an awesome fishery! the only drawback is the season closes on Novemb.31st then I get tortured watching you southern guys beating on bass!LOL
  3. It is great to catch big bass on your own creation, my personal best smallie 7.02 and biggest weight in a tourney I won 24.88 lbs was all on a bait I designed feels great!
  4. Welcome guys. an awesome site with some real ceative dudes!

  11. Hi Kev. yes we Canadians are getting into bass takle EH! Mike sells plastisol and is located in Bellville.
  12. Hi Guys, need help from my Southern freinds, I have a customer who needs a bait color for this body of water, I have never been there, any help would be appreciated. thanks Mark also table rock, if you don't mind.
  13. Again this does NOT reflect on the awesome helpful people at LC. ! the pot in that pic was a 150% improvement from the crap I got! first off the speed control doesn't work!why? becuse the small motor had a capacitor on it! they cannot be used with speed control so it's spinning around at 107 rpm. air bubbles galore.(2) 2 wires were off the contacts (3) the wires were crimped with regular pliers instead of proper crimpers!(4) while it had a height control the wires were too short it raise it 1 inch! (5) five minutes in the shaft seized in the pot bushing!improper alignment!(6) the agitator paddle was a good 3-4 inchinces from the bottom of the pot! 4 cup wast of plastic! (7) the pot was a cheap presto with a rubber seal-good for 3 batches before the ring burnt out!( regulator leaking-defective -everything put together crudley ! sharp edges etc... wish I knew about this site back then-wouldve really helped me! only cause of my mechanical background did I get this thing working, for $1300.00 it's not the most expensive but it was Unacceptable, Lurecrat uses the 5 gallon-they must be made differently!
  14. I'm still waiting for a couple of motors to come in , but i can show you how I'm doing it Rip, the LC ones may have improved over the 2 seasons but based on my last one -not good.
  15. Hi Rip-normally don't like to discourage anyone, from purchases, especially from people as nice as Lurecraft, but these pots are made elswhere-the large ones may be fine but ths smaller one I ordered, if I wasn't so desperate to finnish orders I wouldve sent it back, the workmanship was aweful-could get into a big list, being a maintenance mechanic by trade was the only reason I could get it to work-I ordered an All-American 10 quart and am building my own-properly! again, this is nothing to do with LC-great people-excellent service!
  16. I new I was born in the wrong country! looking out at the window still a foot of snow!! Nice Largie-it is cool getting em on your own creation!
  17. I too have heard of the issues wih 3x, the other thing is that it can't be reground and re-used, making it an expensive process.
  18. Welcome Neil, this is an awesome site filled with some real creative talent!ps- whats the weather like in Florida? snowing like crazy in Ontario!!
  19. The Synnair corporation in Tennesse makes smooth on products, check sculpture suppliers near you , thats where I get mine from.

    Duck Lure

Thats cool!-love to see it get whacked!
  23. They look interesting, -you just never know what the next hot bait will be -look at the Senko! think I'll take out the scultping putty out later!
  24. I'm with Del on this one, in tourneys your hook is one of the most important tools, Owner are the best!
  25. I have faced that dilemma too-I designed a unique looking drop-shot bait that is really outfishing everything else-especially smallies, I heard a patent costs a lot and all someone has to do is change it slightly sg. Senkoaka sinko sink worm etc.... then if someone knocks it off, you need big bucks to fight in court, so I'm still hand pouring it -mine is still the original.
