  1. You might consider these.... And use a coupon …... https://www.harborfreight.com/36-pc-12-in-horsehair-bristle-acid-shop-brushes-61880.html
  2. I just checked my rotisserie RPM's.... It's only 2.25 RPM's and works great. I don't over saturate my clear coats. I brush off as much epoxy with the brush as I can and it's the perfect amount. I dip KBS and let it drip off the bait until I get 5-10 seconds between drips, And that's the perfect amount.

Looks like a Lil Mac mold to me... http://www.lilmacmolds.com/ I think they were designed to pour the weed guard with the casting.
  4. A couple I did with the hair pick I posted above. Some not clear coated.
  5. Some KO blanks are better than others. Good thing they are cheap. Trial and error is the only way I have found what I like. You may find some in the same batch are better than others. I think that it is mostly from improper weight arrangements.
  6. Not yet... Cheap and locally available to me >>> https://www.dickblick.com/products/jacquard-airbrush-paints/ They offer a ton of different brands of airbrush paint as well. Look at the links on the left after you open this link.. https://www.dickblick.com/categories/airbrush/colors/
  7. Nice work... My friend did this for me on water slide decal paper....
  8. This is what I used on my exhaust fan in the past. https://www.harborfreight.com/router-speed-control-43060.html
  9. No barb or collar? I'd pass and buy some from LPO.
  10. I have used several that were from 3-4-6 rpms and results have been the same with multi different finish's from epoxy, e-tex, KBS.
  11. I make a ton of baits and use these>>> https://www.ebay.com/itm/36-20LB-Universal-Grill-Electric-Rotisserie-Motor-120V-4-W-On-Off-Switch-BBQ/273370941269?epid=28021692767&hash=item3fa62d8755:g:d8UAAOSwNDVbVYJD:rk:147:pf:0&LH_BIN=1

    Ideas please

Heat the hooks and parts with a halogen light up close... Not LED... The cold parts make the lead shy away.
  13. You are using too much paint, And probably spraying to close with too much pressure.
  14. Like I mentioned earlier. It's too much resistance on the blade Bending the blade reduces the resistance, Just like putting too big of a spinner blade on a spinnerbait for it's keel/weight. It's going to roll.
  15. Post a pic. You don't have enough "keel" to keep the it tracking correctly for the blade size. Reduce blade size or lower the center of gravity.
  16. Who changes skirts? Most change jigs. Tying another knot is much faster than a skirt for me.
  17. Rattles are for babies...
  18. Did you not see this post? https://fishingskirts.com/?s=mushroom+rattle&post_type=product
  19. One of the simplest jigs to make... https://fishingskirts.com/product-category/skirts-unlimited/old-school-square-rubber/ This is the hardest part.... Paying $30 for 1lb that I used to buy for $4
  20. I have been doing that for years as well...
  21. Hang the jig from the eyelet when you bake.
  22. Never a problem when I used any epoxy in my house. Especially Devcon 2 Ton 30 min. I don't agree with weight mixing ratios. Ratios should be mixed 50/50 by volume. That is why they come in 2 equal parts by volume and offered in syringe style packages. A and B can weigh differently and cause a bad ratio.
  23. Spike it blade dip is acetone base and flammable. I sure would not heat a blade and dip in acetone... Asking for trouble.
