  1. Google pepper lures under metal baits..
  2. You must not have read the OP first post... He wants 1/2oz to 7/8oz.
  3. Personally I would buy the finesse dropshot mold, Use a stainless steel wire that would go from the bottom of the mold (at swivel end) going up into the sprue a little... Pour and then pull the wire out. Break off the sprue and you should have what you want. You would need to make sure that the wire was in the center of the pour hole first. This is a better option than making a rubber mold in my mind.
  4. I think these molds would make a better looking lure body and give you a place to tie any dressings on if you like... http://store.do-itmolds.com/Ultra-Minnow-Spinner-JigbrSz-14-38-12brHk-L255-or-32608NbrCollar-Holder_p_1047.html http://store.do-itmolds.com/Ultra-Minnow-Spinner-JigbrSz-58-34-1brHk-253-or-32608NbrCollar-Holder_p_1048.html
  5. These molds will give you from 1/8- 3oz choices... >>> http://store.do-itmolds.com/Bottom-Bouncer-Sinker-Molds_c_164.html This one specifically for your needs>>> http://store.do-itmolds.com/Bottom-Bouncer-SinkerbrSz-12-34-1-1-12-2_p_601.html Post some finished pics.
  6. Trust me... Thin with 10-20% Xylol/Xylene and the foaming will not happen....
  7. John sold to a nerw owner Tom Nelson.. I have bought from them several time since the sale... It has been a little while since I had any contact. 952 457 9654 Tom
  8. Some use hot glue gun into the mold...
  9. I prefer the lead to be mostly on the head as the one you posted will allowthe hooks to catch and foul the lead edge...
  10. What "style" are you wanting? I have made/modified many blade bait molds. Some don't and wont vibrate. I have spent a lot of time and money doing this. They can be weight, shape finicky.
  11. I poured a bunch of drop shot weights with bismuth for a guy living in Massachusetts where there is a lead ban. It poured really easy, But it was so brittle, It would break easily when I removed the sprues. The guy I sent them to, Said they would break if he hit a dock or bridge piling etc... I would not use it for spinnerbaits or jigs personally.... But I don't have a lead ban here in Michigan.
  12. KBS is by a long shot the best clear coat finish I have used. I have been making baits for near 30 years and have tried just about everything available to me... I may be one of the first to really brag about it on this site. I think everybody that I know that has tried it, Loves it... I also think thinning 20%-30% with xylene/xylol makes it work even better.
  13. 5min is too fast, turns yellow, and is not considered waterproof.

    Unused Lead

Yes... Mine are always left 80% full.
  15. Use smaller blades...
  16. TCP Global have many fittings or adapters that should get you hooked up.
  17. Sounds like a job for a blade bait to me.
  18. Soma say potato, soma say petato LOL...
  19. No... Dip or brush... I thin it 20-30% with Zylol/Zylene.
  20. Try KBS diamond clear coat and watch this problem disappear.
  21. I dislike that style of hook a lot... You miss too many bites and loose fish., I noticed you bend the hook open a lot... That helps, But the round bend trumps in my opinion. Good video... 8^)
  22. Summit Racing sells KBS Diamond Clear... Not sure they ship to Canada. Google the product and see if it's available to you.
  23. Try KBS diamond Clear and thin 20-30% with Zylol/Zylene.
