    I just re-tie. Most don't do it often enough anyway. Takes 10 seconds.

    I think the spring needs to be moved 90* from its position. The weight needs to move front to back because of the position of pull movement.

    The more angle out of the head has more flex and less hook set delivery. Also promotes bending on fish catch's/boat flips. Weakening wire.

    20-24 gauge copper. 22 is best I think. 2 wraps only. Pull tight before twisting. Don't twist to do the tightening.

    Looks like the angle of the bill/lip is not down enough to me. That is where I would start, And the lip may need to increase surface area.

    They work great on most crimp sleeves. I'm using a smaller size sleeve than these crimpers will crimp on a .027 wire. https://www.ebay.com/itm/335247930002

    My experience has always been, When hanging wire down, Blades should not overlap. But I have only been making them for 40+ years. LOL.

    I own 4 or 5. Best brush I have used. Had them for a few years at least. I don't use my Iwata anymore. A dozen others I know that tried one say the same. I love the .8 needle. Easy to clean, Feels great in my hand. Post your opinions....
