What sort of tail does it have? Changing the tail from a soft tail to a hard tail, or the other way around, can really change the action sometimes.

Wow Very impressive. That will catch the biggest bass in every pond across the country! -
Anybody have any tips for painting some spots on a new huddleston or any other soft plastic. I have tried spray paint designed for plastic and regular spray paint. I let it dry for a day and neither ever seems to dry. Maybe i didnt wait long enough? The bait is brand new and it has a very shiny sheen to it. I wiped it off with alcahol real good but maybe i have to ruff it up a little? Any tips would be appreciated thanks.

Congrats on the bait and the fish. 6 allmost 7 lbs thats a solid fish you must have been stoked. Hey if i were you i would let that bait be and make another one or six! Right on. Cant wait to see the pics. John.

I worked on a sportboat here in so cal for years and more than a few times things have been thrown over the side only to come back over the rail in a fishes mouth, usually sand bass. The funnyest thing i saw was a sand bass that hit the deck and spit out a plum pit some other guy was eating earlier. Ive seen plenty of chicken bones in fish but one time i cut a yellowtail and found a whole deep fried chicken breast!

Caught that sucker the first time i fished that swimbait. I must of fished it for a good 3 hours before i got bit but i got what i came for. I was amazed but not suprised that i got bit. As far as fullfilment from one fish it doesnt get much better than catching them on your own creations. -

Yeah wow thanks for the ideas guys. thats some good stuff, not completely cutting the joints, first! Why diddnt i think of that. i can stop throwing wood against wall now!

Here's one, if the joints on my baits are uneven or i just want them tighter, i melt the end of a glue stick and put a drop on the edges where they meet. It ends up looking like a little booger on the side of the bait but its worked wonders for me when i need to alter a finished bait. -

Can anyone tell me what kind of saw, machine or technique it takes to cut perfect V joints in a bait. Ive tried making a straight hole through the top of the bait with a drill machine and cut at an angle to the hole but its not going so good. Any help would be hella appreciated thanks.
