No experience with that one, but I saw this one while looking around on Barlow's site.

-edit- Just noticed you were looking for up to 16 oz.
Sorry, I misunderstood which part stuck. The part about everyone using high temp engine paint (never saw anyone say they used ceramic) still applies. Do a search on painting molds and you should get the specific brands.
Hight temp engine paint is what everyone uses. It is designed to be sprayed on metal, not resin so there must be some sort of solvent in it that reacted with the resin.
The orientation of that mold is incorrect for making laminates. in odrer to work for a laminate the bottom of the bait needs to be in one half and the top in the other half, or each bait needs its own injection port.
When did that start? All the Calhoun I bought from Bear and Del (along with Poly One and Chemionics) had the manufacturers name on the jug and if I remember correctly Bear had his name on it as well. Every place I've ever seen that sells MF says it's MF. I can't see how them not having their name on it would relieve them of any responsibility since at the end of the day, they are the ones who produced it (sort of like the "sue the gun maker" thing that's happening these days. I can't how many times I've steered people looking for Calhoun to your website only to have them tell me they couldn't find it there, all you sold was baitjunkys plastic.
So, I can put an "M" on the front of my pickup and say I made it? I'd probably still have to take it to the Chevy dealer for warranty work though... LOL
I usually let mine air dry for a day or two, then bake at 250 for an hour, then seal with the 50 - 50. Never had any issues, but the stuff you used to seal it is the unknown in this. It probably can't take the 300+ degree plastisol.
Most use 50 -50 elmers glue and water to seal pop. The stuff you used could well have melted or you possibly didn't use enough, hard to say without being familiar with that product. How long did you let the pop dry before you sprayed it?
