  1. They're actually 1/4 20 socket head bolts.
  2. Lureworks natural #189 will get you there easily.
  3. I just spray one squirt into the bag before I bag the baits. Makes them easier to bag and the baits absorb it.
  4. Bang anise in the spray bottle, not the can.
  5. I used to use that as well. Sent some baits to a friend that I had used it on. He asked what it was and I asked him what he thought it was. He said "Well, it smells like ass".
  6. Bob's 706 is as close as you can get without going overseas.
  7. The fish don't look that closely...
  8. We always just took a dremel to the 1/8 oz cavity. You don't have to take off much material.

  10. Get a lid with the jug and leave the plastic in it. Makes it much easier to keep it mixed. If there's only a gallon or two you can just pour it into your pyrex, if there's more than that just use something to dip it out or use a turkey baster.
  11. I don't think they make it anymore. That post was from 14 years ago.... I don't see it on their website.
  12. Like Wally said Pyrex or Anchor. Most seem to prefer Pyrex.
  13. If they're all the same, get a 5 gallon bucket with a lid, dump the liquid in, cut the gallon jugs and scrape out the hard pack. Put the hard pack in the 5 gallon bucket with the liquid and use a paint mixer on your drill.
  14. I use a blanket on mine. I also made a lid for the pot that fits around the stirrer. I wired mine up with a PID for temp control and have noticed the plastic temp (within 2 degrees + or -) is much more stable with the blanket and lid. Can't really say how long it takes to heat 4 cups I've never paid that much attention to it. I put the plastic in and set it for 350, putter around and when I see it in the 340 area I watch it until it hits 350, then dial it down to 310 or so.
  15. The valve (faucet) screws in. There's a knockout plug in the cap. You unscrew the cap, knock out the plug, screw the valve (faucet) in and screw the cap back on. I've never had to stir MF regular, it doesn't settle out like some. You can always pick the container up and slosh - shake it up some if you want.
  16. My experience with Zeiners is that just because it lets you put it in the cart doesn't mean it's in stock.
  17. 5 gallons MF soft sinking $155 5 gallons dead on black $110 And now that MF has free shipping.... well.
  18. Not the last time I checked.....

  20. Good luck with the move. I grew up in Narragansett. You're going to save a ton of money just in taxes.
  21. Depends on the mold. You need to raise the pot somehow anyway if you put a valve on it.
  22. The problem I see with a valve in the middle of the pot is having to reach under the pot to activate it. As for hearing the valve, I use the heating element from a glue gun.
  23. Not that I've been told. I do know he left us way too soon.
  24. I just found out that Del Wilcox of Delmart molds passed yesterday morning. One of they guys who helped a lot of us get started in this addiction. RIP my friend.
