Good bulk. Nice color. Would make a great Flippin, pitch-en bait. I use similar styles with a 5/0 / 6/0 hook. In Florida you live in the weeds, pads, what ever. The above combo will certainly get the job done! -
I save any and all broken rods reels what ever . Plus I buy broken stuff at yard sales when I find them. Cheap as dirt. Never ,ever have enough ................. spare parts.

It`s the paint jobs that make or break a lure! All your presentations ,as shown, have that "eye" appeal. Versatility as it`s best. -
I`ve used pieces of coat hanger in a pinch. All sorts of stuff that you can use/find when the need arises.

For my money, you did a fine job. Although a smidge of orange on the bottom(head area) would add a little flair. Either way, nice job. -

Saw your question . Went out on the net and found others asking the same question. Different forums. Like you I could not find an definitive answer. Most poster seem to agree that production on some lure have been eliminated. Hear say...... Facts must hiding.

Got to give you ...props. The color scheme is out there . Really interesting. You put time on something and it really shows the high standard you`ve set. -
Not your typical paint job . I`ll bet there isn`t another on here (gallery) ....period. That puppy has minimum pain/color but is cool as all get out! Hi-5. -
Home made rack......... Efficiency at it`s best. -
The more you look at it ..............the better it gets. Nothing fancy. The Rayburn red, plus the red eye, jell nicely. -

There are times you need to come up with the $$$ to get the proper tool. It works fine. You can also use the smallest tele tie. Plus they come in colors.

I have some I like but no favorite color. I rotate a lot . When the Bass get to hitting my worm, that`s my favorite color .................at the moment. Fl Bass make you work to get then to pull your string.

You might try U-Tube for a Tutorial on .....rod building. Audio/visual. Great way to help you get started.
