There have been other singular paint jobs like this one. All were certainly nice. Yours seems to have a richer tone than the others. Very eye appealing. Fist bump. -
Black head area. Red eye. Body color, with the spots. Together....nice. Looks like you stepped up on that one. Fist bump. -
Paint jobs are all in the color(s) Get them wrong and .... Get it right and you`ve got something. -
The eye/gill area really helps seal the deal. Purple seems like the perfect body match. -
When your finished product looks life like....... You`ve done a good job. -

The fade in and out of the green plus the gill area.......... gives that puppy style. Just a great look! Fist bump! -

All hand made. That`s a fist bump right there. Any time you create something from nothing. Then come up with a paint job that`s different in concept. The finished product is one to be proud of. -

SORRY IF I HURT YOUR FEELING..REALLY. About your," you know what they say about opinions," Cause you don`t understand the phrase, doesn`t make it derogatory! It means, people see thing differently. Nothing more ,Nothing less. "We are not friends." I never thought we were. -
Now that you asked. I`m saying I don`t think you nailed it as your customer stated . He may think you did but as you posted the pic, you get opinions. Hence, my original comment. Which is a phrase commonly used. It`s not ment to be negative. Just I see it differently. That ,my friend, is called an opinion.

You have set your bar very high thru your work. My positive feed back can turn on a dime. I just call-um like I see them. -
I go thru a lot of skirts. One reason is those little rubber bands get old they just fall a part or a mud fish destroys that puppy in one hit. Bass as well. Fla has got a lot of toothy fish swimming around. Why lose the skirt material because the rubber band goes bye-bye. I bought the "tool" to expand the rubber band. Skirt material as well. Make my own, Still had problems. Then the light went on! I bought some really small telephone ties. Lots of different colors. Since doing that my retention rate is almost 100%. I fish a lot of pad fields. Braider line of course. My spinners and skirts take a pounding. Thank to the "ties'" That problem/cost has all but disappeared.

Looking at the pic, I`m saying.........I Iike the bait. Nice colors. Glass eye ? Can`t really tell one way or another. Just a question. The hook selection as well as the pom-pon are part of your creation as you see it. As a guy just looking at it , I`m thinking that thing has got to go. If it were ,say rubber/plastic rather than what ever that is , I might have a different take on it. A single hook... I want the odds in my favor when fishing. Can`t put them back....till you catch-um. Just my take on your bait. Nothing negative intended.
