I`m a color guy. Maybe a lively green body. Gill plate area accented to make the red eye
stand out some. '
A splash of orange on the throat area.
Then a mild rib design on the body in black.
Cover all in a gloss.
Lots of times it`s just the marring of tones/colors that make or break the platform.
Appreciate your letting me infringe on your work.
As the painter you have artistic license to
throw my suggestions out the window. LOL!
The "Red" eye . Good choice.
On the paint job. To be honest with you ......
The lite blue and gold just don`t seem to
accommodate each other.
Not trying to be nasty, just giving you my opinion.
Another nice presentation . Have seen a lot of those "rib" designs lately or what ever you might call that.
The top color compliments the bottom color.
The eye is prefect. Nice natural looking blend over all.
Hi-5.
Was just looking at a pic of the Sebile Action First Bull Minnow.
Your paint job is "almost" a dead ringer of that lure. Some small variations though.
It`s in March 2015 issue of Field & Stream.
I`ve caught a ton of bass flipping a craw like that. The color was similar. Great on a carolina rig as well.
Looks like the body has nice bulk.
Hook it up. Tight lines.
Hard to evaluate this puppy. Markings are faint to say the least. Could just be the lack of lighting . Or, that`s just the way it is.
Maybe a few more pic`s would help.
Right out of the gate that puppy gets your attention.
The eye area, especially the one on the right, makes that thing come to life.
I`m a red-eye lover as well but not in this case. For me the eye shown presents the lure better. JMO.
Hi-5.
Like it !
Nice ,soft integrated colors. The light purple (I hope) at the bottom and the little bit of green on the gill/ back area.....tasteful.
RED_EYE....the cherry on top !!
HI-5 !
Plenty of bulk. For flipping, those puppies would get-er -done.
I`d do the middle one as my choice .
Drop that puppy into the grass .Give it a little wiggle. Set the hook and enjoy!
