The back section looks right on target.
The front section looks to me like you lost
your design/detail. Just doesn`t seem to fit.
Trying to give an honest/objective comment .
Catch and release on Bass...........absolutely.
Fish a lot of local "T`s" and you know , that`s what you do. Falls into the category of." recycle the resource."
Gut hook . Your method of removal certainly gives Mr Bass a better chance for survival.
If I think the "gut hook" is to severe and it does happen. I just cut the line as close as possible to the hook . No damage done what so ever. This way also gives Mr Bass a better chance for survival.
Do yourself a favor. Pick up a book on Rod Building at your local Library.
You said," never built a rod." Then why try to do something you know nothing about.. Get the book.
When you get to the ,guide wrapping, you`ll thank me. Maybe.
Was just looking at another forum and a guy on there had a problem like yours. Same reel.
A poster said, the SGA600CX is close relative to the Accurist CX. Might look that one up and see what`s....what. If it`s that close you should be able to figure it out.
When you do get into your reel..............well you`ll see.
That lure is funky enough to be cool..........
Funky as in different. Plus, the legs should have plenty of "wiggle. "
Not sure about the red hook though.
No explanation as to how these came about.
Made from scratch , pain job only. what ever.
If I missed something, my apologies.
Hard to give props with out knowing what you did. Not trying to be flippant.
They do look nice though.
