  1. Maybe try some heat... Just guessing here.

    GLADIATOR BASS.....

The back section looks right on target. The front section looks to me like you lost your design/detail. Just doesn`t seem to fit. Trying to give an honest/objective comment .
  3. Catch and release on Bass...........absolutely. Fish a lot of local "T`s" and you know , that`s what you do. Falls into the category of." recycle the resource." Gut hook . Your method of removal certainly gives Mr Bass a better chance for survival. If I think the "gut hook" is to severe and it does happen. I just cut the line as close as possible to the hook . No damage done what so ever. This way also gives Mr Bass a better chance for survival.
  4. Looks like you have way to much idle time on your hands........................................... But looks like it has paid off nicely!
  5. Do yourself a favor. Pick up a book on Rod Building at your local Library. You said," never built a rod." Then why try to do something you know nothing about.. Get the book. When you get to the ,guide wrapping, you`ll thank me. Maybe.
  6. Was just looking at another forum and a guy on there had a problem like yours. Same reel. A poster said, the SGA600CX is close relative to the Accurist CX. Might look that one up and see what`s....what. If it`s that close you should be able to figure it out. When you do get into your reel..............well you`ll see.
  7. You might try U-Tube with your question , That is if you haven`t already. Get back on the net and keep looking/digging.

This just looks good! Paint job doesn`t over power the lure. The red eye is perfect for the finishing touch.

    3d scale crankbait

Anything hand made with a custom paint job I give more credit to.
  10. You can clean (old) dirty cork grips using a Brillo pad. Just get it wet and rub the cork. Doesn`t hurt anything and works great.

    White Crappie

The pattern is not overly done. In fact it looks "believable." Big gap hooks as well. That puppy will catch some fish.
  12. Sweet paint job. Never did like those type of eyes though.

Green and mean! Plus, a red-eye.
  14. Made one from a BBQ motor. For what I needed it to do.....it works reasonably well.

This I like. Has detail in the pattern.
  16. That lure is funky enough to be cool.......... Funky as in different. Plus, the legs should have plenty of "wiggle. " Not sure about the red hook though.

I do like ...color. Plus, a matching skirt.

    blue whale

I look at that more as an art piece than a functioning lure. Displayed so all can enjoy your work.
  19. Google your question..............

    trout #1

The paint job on this one is proportionate. Flows very well. May be a tad rich but cool non the less.

    Sexy Shad

No explanation as to how these came about. Made from scratch , pain job only. what ever. If I missed something, my apologies. Hard to give props with out knowing what you did. Not trying to be flippant. They do look nice though.
