Building A Short Rod - How To Cut The Blank?

When you start cutting off sections of a rod( tip area or butt section) it`s hit or miss as to the out-come. I`d just keep looking. You`ll find what your looking for sooner or later. -
The only thing missing in your pic is a bowl of melted butter. -
Details separate good from outstanding. -
Outstanding body/paint job. Look really look great in large fish tank. "looks" like it`s ceramic. No matter, its a solid presentation. -
Maybe.....Maybe not. I like "color so you know I`ve got a ton (figure of speech of course) of different colors. Ends up I use 2 or 3 most of the time. The rest I like to look at. To each his own.
