That big eye sets that bait off. The top part of your paint job (small scale pattern) is nicely done. -

Those big eyes and the really nice combo paint jobs make your baits stand out. -

I really like stuff that`s off the wall. Now there`s a stand alone beauty. Some red-hooks and that puppy is set to go. Hate to say it but a "red" eye would have been killer. IMO> -

How bout this. Weigh (i) 4 in D/S worm. Weigh the.... plastic material only. Then divide the plastic by the worm. See what you come up with. I`m betting you`ll come up with an "idea" of how many you can get. Idea, is a relative term at best.

Like the effort. Of all, the green is the coolist. Would have liked to have seen this puppy with all it`s hardware. -
The detail on that lure is something else. I`d like to give you more props but not sure what you did in totality. -
Apparently you have some sort of problem with the "dangling hook(s)" so why not try an in-lin-spinner. Like the Snagless Sally.

2 oz. I`ll bet you can throw those puppies a "country" mile. Would be great for keeping you with fast moving schoolers. -

You didn`t over-due the paint job on this bait. Nicely done. -
I don`t believe I`ve ever seen a trap type lure in this color. The blue makes it really stand out. -
For me, that paint job is basic at best. But it just goes to show you how different basic can be. It really catches your eye. That pattern would look good on a ....TRAP> -
I wouldn`t let that bother you. "Nice" looks good but for a short time. If it is a problem.... touch the blade up after the split ring is installed. Like someone else said, that`s a wear point.

If you get a chance to see/work building a rod with some one who knows what there doing ........jump on it! That way you can ask questions, make mistakes, what ever and you`ll come way ahead Any time you can get some OJT, it makes your task a whole lot easier. J s/n.
