    new tail jerk

The bottom one caught my eye. maybe it was the "big" eye. Maybe the scheme. None, the whole thing.
  2. Brent R: Funny, your question was moved and my comment goes missing. No big deal. At least now your in the correct location. Thanks for your message. LOL. As to your question. Foam is better suited for salt water and cork for fresh water and the like. Weight/durability of the material has a lot to do with which is used where. Have made many salt water rods and for the most part foam (not always though) was the clear choice . Fresh water types be they fly rods, spinning or bait casting rods , cork was my choice. Like they say, different strokes for different folks.
  3. New or old. Single, triple, what ever. Do you sharpen or just assume there sharp enough? Manufacturers go to great length to tout the sharpness, along with other attributes of their hooks. That being said, do you just tie one on and let fly (with some sort of lure of course.) or get your file or whatever you use and give it a lick ot two? Yes..........No. I`m of the old school. If I think it`s sharp enough, which is very unusual for me, I don`t file. But truth be known, That is so rare, I always give my hook(S) a lick or two. Plus that eliminates any worry, what so ever, about me thinking, gee, I should have. The second part is do you continue to check/sharpen your hook(s) through out your day on the water? I do. Have found to many dull. some what bent, even broken over a days fishing not too. Equipement (hooks) in good shape, can certainly help make a difference in the days final count. Of course, that is ......catch and release. Personal choice.

    KVD 2.5

The "mix" of your paint job makes this bait as well as the other one.

    baby pike vol3

I must say,The sure "look" good.
  8. 24 posts and your just now saying ....hi?
  9. Just looked up their web-page. Seems to be active. Although they have added the word"new." Not sure what they mean by that.

The colorful, bottom bait shown in your pic is an eye catcher.
  11. No problem, I`ll fix it for you. I live just around the corner in Deltona. PM me.
  12. I can see by your picture why they won`t spin. The way you have them attached will only let them ...flutter. Try adding a small swivel to each blade. where it is attached now. May even have to spread the blades apart some. Trial and error. Happy tinkering.
  13. I`ve never used/seen the two(2) you are talking about. So not help here. I`d need to "feel" those 2 just to get an idea of how they respond to my hand. Warranty is find but it`s not first on my list of things I like about a rod.

    Tomato Craw

Nice fade-in on your paint scheme.

You hit on something nice here. The red eye gives it that evil look.

    bleeder

What a nice re-paint. simple but really an eye catcher.

    chrome Ish shad

If the "black" is the eye or part of it, it adds greatly to the over-all look of your bait.

    LMBass1

Very nice job. Details and paint scheme make this one.
  20. You look at it long enough and you start to believe it`s .......up side down. With out the hooks of course,
  21. Woodie8 You guys that go after and catch Muskies use a sling of sorts or what ever it`s called. . That way the entire fish/weight is supported. Certainly the proper way to contain those big boys. As far as the boca grip goes ,I was referring to using it on bass and bass only. As soon as bass get in the 55 inch range I`ll start using the sling, Come to think of it, the next time I catch a gator, maybe i`ll give the "sling" a try. LOL. As you stated , the boca grip is not a tool of choice for you as your fish are a lot bigger and heavier.
  22. RayBurnGuy: Point well taken. Not all fish for fun. Nor do they release/re-cycle the resource. That being only Bass for me. Living in Fl and with the great weather , I get to fish a lot more then some.. I keep nothing. It`s just catch and release, pure and simple. No matter the size and I`ve caught some biggins. Handling fish before release, in a proper manner, is paramount. I`ve gone to using a boca gripe. Plus, it saves the fingers .....if you know what I mean. No need to stress a fish further after them giving you a battle by jerking them around on the end of your hand just to "show" off your catch. Course ,them that don`t catch many may go that route due to being over excited. Nothing wrong with that but you would hope they soon understand the damage that could be caused doing that. A good battle from what ever fish your after plus a carefull release ( holding the fish prior to hook removal) sure helps in that old saying..... he(the fish) gets to fight another day. If more folks think about "being carefull" when holding their fish, then maybe the problem as you noted won`t be a problem down the road. Js/n.
  23. Would have liked to see this bait in 3D, Present pic doesn`t do it justice.
  24. Has any one ever entertained the thought of a "regional" get together or a "state" get together? Just a thought.
  25. Welcome aboard. Don`t worry about your English. There are some on here who don`t "speak" it well either. LOL!
