Nice little swim-bait. Your correct on need to work on your paint scheme. When your done, re-post pic with finished product. -

Anything built from scratch that turns out that nice (body style,prep,paint) deserves a thumbs up for creativity, plus acknowledgment for the covering paint scheme. -

For me the major difference in most lures is the color scheme and I must say, that`s one whale of a color scheme! -
Not sure what you did so all I can say is it looks good. -
Nothing bland about that puppy! -

I`m not sure how that color combo would look on a Sport coat but it looks just fine on your lure. -
