The 1/8 oz on my mold has always had flash on the collar and sometimes at the hook eye it's not bad but it is starting to bug me. Could it be a bad mold or just the way I am pouring. I've tried lowering the temp raising the temp heating the hooks. It doesn't keep the fish from biting but it bothers me.

Just found a sickle hook I have and with a bend it will work

Thanks I new you would know something. I was playing with it this morning and I think I will just try a #2 60 it looks like what I want if I go up a size on a different hook just don't like a 410 in a light head. Do you know if a vmc 7161 eye hole will work with out a modification

Does anyone know if there is a #4 #2 #1 lighter hook than the 410. Have looked every where I could think of any ideas guys.

Try TNT Tackle or Crazy Angler I use both for 1/100 heads no collar

I use both methods depends on how lazy I get. If you still want to powder paint with the weedguard in use the tubes from Barlows work great. Use temp at 225 for 20 min you may need to experiment with temp and time but this works for me. To keep weedguard straight just take bread wrappers and wrap the tip just tight enough to keep twist tie from slipping down then when cool just untwist and trim guard to length you want

Yes it does I use to get them from a guy at Lucky Craft lures but have lost contact with him can buy at Bass Pro but all they have anymore or painted wanted to paint my own. Found the Gama hooks guess I could make a worm sinker mold just hate to if someone here can do it

I I would like to throw in my 2 cents worth on the wooden handle ladle I am on my second one and use it alot but I keep forgetting about the wooden handle burning up so with the tape I bought off Cadman I wrapped my new one and cured the problem of the CRS desease and it works great. I use it on everything because I can not get my Lee IV to stop leaking I noticed that the screw that is suppose to adjust is not going in to the groove it has never worked like it should am working on saving up to buy a RCBS had and old one once and it is the best I haved used. I want to thank everyone on TU site you have helped me a lot
