Spike-A-Pike, I may be hitting you up on the balancing of in-line spinners as I remember reading a thread that I believe you commented on the importance of it and I am currently fighting with one right now that I believe is not spinning due to a balancing issue. I'll try getting some pics of it and go from there. Cadman, with a name like that I'm betting we are in the same profession. AutoCAD?? I lived in Whitewater for 6 years and after going thru the big D I don't really care to go back, not that's it's a bad town, just bad decisions on my part in that town. There are some nice bass lakes around there but since taking up Muskie hunting I have kind of lost interest in bass fishing. I should probably add that the strangest thing about the day I caught the 4# was that my fishing partner and I went out with about two dozen lures each that we had made, with no other intentions than trying out the lures to see how we did. This is my official first post and NOOOO, I'm not going to go asking questions...well not yet. I have spent the time since I have signed up until about a month ago just reading and learning and then trying different things. I will say that the Member Submitted Tutorials have made me lose countless hours of sleep reading them and then doing searches. After making some in-line spinners for bass and catching a 23" 4 pound+ bucketmouth, which for around here is a really good fish, the addiction started. I soon there after scaled the size of the lures up to muskie size and am very happy with the results so far. I have yet to catch a muskie but am confident that they are responding more to my own lures than the store bought ones.
