  1. This is my first attempt at foiling. I did this to a shad rap that sees no muskies so I figured what the heck. Here's what I got so far. I'm planning on epoxying the lure tonight, then will hit it with some paint. I used drywall tape under the foil and thought it worked out pretty good. As far as the paint, if I use a white primer, then paint the pattern I want over the layer of epoxy, will I still have the foil finish or will it disappear with all the layers of paint and epoxy? I've searched here, but haven't really found my answer. Can anyone help me out. Thanks!
  2. Wow! What a great looking bait. I know a few muskies here that would like to bite into that. I'd like to know what type of material you used also.
  3. I would be interested in that video. Good suggestion!
  4. I intertwine them on my bucktails. Two clevis's.
  5. Here's my first attempt at some bucktails. I tied the flashabou with thread and cemented, then added zip ties for added strength. All have 8 colorado blades except the two on the end have 10's. The first one is a silicone skirt(3 of them on a long coil). The second is regular flashabou, third is marabou, and the rest is flashabou fly fiber. The fly fiber is the way to go in my opinion. Stiffer and easier to work with. Any comments or suggestions on making them any better? The skoal can is for size reference.
