  3. I am a manager at a best buy and although I would love everyone to shop with us I realize that isnt quite possiable. However I have had customer pay thousands for tvs and other equipment from that 1st site along with a few others run by the same folks and ended up getting broken/used equipment...heck I have even had some that never got anything other than a bill....Always buy from brick and mortar...most the times they will offer some type of price match.
  4. I am speechless!!!... That thing is amazing:yay: Is there a netting still under the foil?

  10. Never seen that done before....looks interesting. I would love to see how well it holds up as well as swims. Is that "chain" stainless?
  11. I got this tip from one of the veterans on here but I use 75/25 2ton (75) to denatured alcohol (25)....I love it and It really soaks in the wood well. I think there are folks on here that use a 50/50 mix as well.
  12. Ok i give I cant find out what G-10 is.....help?
  13. Osha would not be very happy with you right now DSV!....sandles in the workshop tisk tisk lol jk. Great looking bait so far and cant wait to see where you take this.

  16. Not sure if you guys have seen this set up either but looks pretty promising. Blade-Runner Swim Bait Insert Weighted Hook I am sure it wont be long and we will have tons of advancements with hooks/terminal tackle geared towards the progressing swimbait. BTW anyone pouring a hook similar to that above?
  17. I mainly use a soft plastic tail I carved from wood then molded from pop...however from marks recommendations i have done a few with a material similar to the lids of cool whip etc... Both seem to work great I just personally like the look and feel I get with soft plastic tails...the down fall is they dont last as long
  18. Im not sure how to vote because mainly in part I see both sides to this coin....I know how much time I spend on this site reading and adding information when I can and dont come close to what most of you put in. I do however think there are ways you/TU could make way more money for growth support etc...than charging a fee. Charging a fee will see a large decrease in membership (IMO) who knows what innovative ideas and creative styles will never see this site because of a fee. You wont see nearly as many new members which decreases your opportunity for "talent" which is what will continue to make this site successful. I think that there is a lot of merit in a lure store, donation (money, lures..etc) or other ideas in order to allow this site to grow. I also think that limiting sections to those folks that donate etc is a great idea....I know that after spending countless hours combing threw all the knowledge on this site I would personally donate/pay for video how tos...or a section with plans to build things like duplicators, pour pots and who knows what else. so in closing i still dont know
  19. They make some great wooden wheels at home depot and lowes made of pine planks i believe all I did was drill a hole in the center and on the edge of the circle I drilled holes all the way around....glued in some gator clips and was done in 15 mins. BTW for the motor I used a rotisserie motor that was clearance at lowes i think i paid $35 for it
  20. Love it! I was fishing with one of the strike king shadlicious baits yesterday (first time fishing that type of bait) and was getting wore out! Your painting is great
