i make a lot of trailers. i use lc 502. without salt the trailer floats and has some great action. the large chunck mold from del is my favorate and the chunck just about lifts the jig off the bottom.
i will try upperhand anise. hope its smells like the stuff i use now. heard a lot of good things about it. i have coffee scent and it really stinks the house up.
i have both. i am inpressed with the one peice action of the frog but mainly pour the 2 peice, look at a few threads down on bobs molds i posted a photo of the one peice. its the bottom pic.
yea i buy the pure anise oil not the star. its not cheap but my customers love it and call it the secret sauce. i started puting a little less in and its still potent.
heres my motor oil. i need to find the recipe. won a tourney with this worm. the bass were not hiting so my brother put one on and the bass gobbled them up. it has dels motoroil lc oxblood and chartuse
i have been using pure anise in my baits. i buy it from an web site that sells pure scent but its not cheap. have not found anything close to this from other companys. does anyone no a good source for anise that actully smells like real anise.
i do it all the time. i also make the 10in trick worms out of it. i use a lot of black baits so i just add some black for the worms. the frogs i give to friends and some bass tourny guys.
i use a foreman grill. you can use a hot plate. i have poured that mold at room temp with no problem. make sure you plastic is hot enough and pour strait down the middle.
warm your molds for the first pour. make sure your plastic is hot. may have to reheat 30 seconds after the first 2 worms. more color and stir. that worm is the easiest one i ever poured.when i get time i will make a video pouring it.
thats up to you. i add 4 dashes of salt to 4 oz so the baits still float. i add 12 dashes of salt to 4oz for my wackey worms. but really unless you want your baits to sink a certin speed don`t need to add any. on stick baits follow dels recipe it works great. the measuing spoons i use is LC
