  1. Thanks again guys. ordered some from Amazon.com I am going to try to only add a small strip along the sides of the lure rather than doing the whole thing like a foiled bait. If I can't get a smooth enough finish with it I will just do something with a paint mix and try to come close.
  2. Thank you. Do you know of anywhere on line that I might be able to look that?
  3. Hi Guys, I have surfed here on and off for about a year, great site. I have been painting crankbaits for about 6mos now and a friend has asked me to repaint a few Junior D cranks for him. This bait has reflective/prism type side coloring on the bait, very similar to the Megabass Ito jerkbaits. Can anyone give me any tips on duplicating this color? This color is not the color he wants but this is to give you an idea of the coloring I am talking about along the sides of the bait. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
  4. Thanks Guys. The weights are from 1/4oz-1 1/8oz In the top pic, that is just one of my kids toys, from McDonalds.
  5. Here are some of the results from my first bath of spinnerbaits. I have Bullet and Ultra Minnow style baits. I'll tell you, with all the different combinations possible, with blades and skirt colors, I was giving myself a headache during the process. It was a blast though. I think they came out pretty good for a first attempt. My airbrushing definatele leaves a bit to be desired though. It was my first time using an airbrush so I will have to cut myself a little slack there.
  6. Yeah, that's exactly what I was wondering. I would like to be able to pour more than 1 cavity at a time.
  7. Hi guys, New to the boards with a quick question. I just got the molds for the Ultra Minnow and Bullet spinnerbaits. Poured my first few this morning. They came out good but my question is: Is it possible to pour them more than 1 at a time, like with the jig molds? I ended up having to do it one at a time because I couldn't keep the forms and hooks in place with multiple forms in the mold. Thanks.
  8. Hi Guys, First post here. Just found this a few days ago. I recently started making football head jigs and just got the molds tonight for the Poison jig, Bullet Spinnerbait and Ultra Minnow Spinnerbait. I can see how this can get addicting very easily. This site looks like it will be a wealth of info. I look forward to being a part of it and picking your brains for some tips.
