  1. Looks good! Did you make a your own mold by yourself? Pourable silicone or urethane?
  2. I use airbrush for painting oil based paints and MCU clear coatings. After every session put disassemble air brush in small size metal baking pan then pour cleaning solvent like acetone. Brush them with an old toothbrush.
  3. Try an electric hot plate. I mean household cookware. Use small size sauce pan. 4 layers hand pours laminate then 4 pans 4 colors. Adjust temp control as low as Plastisol pour-able and less burning. Heating Pylex on the hot plate should be OK, but I don't take the risk of glass shutter so aluminum small pan is safer and way to go.
  4. Great color! Would you mind if I ask the colorant recipe?
  5. OK, now I get it! First of all I didn't know they had been acquired by LPO, second of all I did try to access starting "https" which is still invalid to redirect right now. Seems like I should use "http" instead, then auto redirect is working. Or I can open LPO instead, since I know LC had been acquired under LPO. Thanks guys my problem solved!
  6. Shepherd, if you don't mind could you tell us what Plastisol using? I assume M-F Sinking Soft it is? IIRC, Yamamoto 5" Senko weighs 10.7 grams or something. Are you able to get the same weight without salt or sandblast glass beads?
  7. Can't get access LC, Lurecraft.com since this morning. Tried to use 3 different browsers. All got error same results. Is this a temporally down or am I the only one can't see the LC website?
  8. I meant tungsten weight. Sorry about not to mention so in the last post.
  9. How about flipping weight for Bass? The ones sold for purpose punching through heavy grass mat. 3/4oz through 2oz and smaller size compare to same weight of lead. I am not sure they are paintable though. Maybe powder coatable?
  10. I know this is an old post but in case if you still looking for please check link below. These are called "Chopper Blades" by LPO (Lure Parts Online). Please disregard if I am talking about wrong blades or too late. http://lurepartsonline.com/Online-Store/Chopper-Blades/Chopper-Spinner-Blades.html
  11. No offence to OP at all, but I am sure 100% this is South Koreans. Not Japanese. I suggest OP to change the title to "South Korean Lure Making". Some reason I have some background so that can be able to recognize the difference between Korean and Japanese languages. I am sure 100% the language used in this video is NOT JAPANESE, IT IS SOUTH KOREANS. Both script and spoken. I remember that once before my Japanese friend said being mix-up Japanese as Korean is like misinterpret German as French. He means those two countries are totally different.
  12. Well.... That is not Japanese.... South Korea.
  13. I've got same problem on my Do-it mold before. Hinge pin got rusted. I sprayed PB Blaster on it and sat over night. PB Blaster liquid penetrated into rusts then loosen them. Now opens and close smooooth like butter!!!
  14. Bassin Buddha, Sounds great idea for me. if you don't mind please upload pics. thanks
