  6. if you us the compressor any type of air tools, a moisture separator is a must. Water moisture is the major cause of tool failure and pays hell with your paints, if air brushing. The regulator is an important to protect your air tools, especially like air brushing, which normally operates at low PSI. Depending on the compressor CFM's, you want to be able to control PSI to your tools otherwise it can blow'em apart Mike

    Mylar tubing

Culprit and Punisher makes some nice mylar jigs, that's where I got the idea from. but they're pretty plan, so thought I'd give'em a try and experiment a bit with some other materials to dress them up a bit Mike
  8. I've used them several times in the past. Great customer service, prompt order shipments, reasonable pricing and quality products. You won't be disappointed. Mike

I've thought about trying some of that Kevlar thread but don't have a ceramic guide type bobbin and I've heard using Kevlar threads can pay hell on standard bobbins and tear up your fingers Mike

  16. thanks reeves, sounds simple enougth do you still need to apply a seal/top coat, IE: Devcon, or similar, when using this clear coat ? thx's Mike
  17. excuse me jumping in on this thread, but being new to powder painting myself, I was wondering when using this clear coat, is this added after you put on your base coat(s), applied similar to multi color powder painting? Do you still need to apply a top coat for harding/protection? Do you cure the clear coat in the same manner as curing other painted jigs .. or is there a special procedure for applying the clear coat? Thx's Mike
  18. Yea, I've noticed the same thing about hook sizes. Don't want to spend a ton on vise that won't handle the large hook sizes. The master vise is in my budget range. I contact and see what hook sizes it handles. thx's again, Mike
