  1. Rounding the bottom might be the answer if that doesn't work you might want to move the joint farther up. Making a longer tail section and shorter front. If you get that wide part to be the start of the joint it can catch more of the water. Not sure if that will make sense or not Edit- could also try a bill that has an angle of a diving bait and see what happens. The flat bottom might keep it on top still.

    Makeing eyes

you can add food coloring paste to epoxy to get alot of different colors, i have tried to make a "mold" out of clay so i can get different shapes and it kind of worked but you have to mess up the clay to get it out then wash the clay off

    Here is a Re-Birthed TT

  13. if i were you i would use and illustrated one, they work better for me at least.
  14. if you can find pvc that is a size that will work you might want to start with that because you don't need to seal it before testing- the the weighting will probably be trial and error so it would be better if you don't need to seal each time you change it. otherwise i would just use some scrap wood
  15. Could work- normally they seem to work better if the picture is completely straight to start with. might be able to turn it a little but shouldn;t be a big problem
  16. you can epoxy a dowel into the hole then cut it of sand down and seal again- there was a tutorial somewhere called poor mans pointer that used this and is seems to work good for me
  17. Just wondering how they are connected to the body? i might be interested once i get making more swimbaits

Where do you get the expanded pvc? i have looked at a couple places but no luck. Could it be called something else in the store?
  19. not sure how your joints are made but if the are the v joint type ones where you would normally have a pin go through two screw eyes or wire circle things you have use ss spinnerbait wire and put it through your hole you drilled and bend part of it over and cut a small slot to put the bend in.
