heck i think it would be worth a try talking to loomis, they replaced my buddies when he ran it over with the truck with no problem, he even tokd them the truth. 15 bucks for shipping and a new rod. thats what i would try first. plus i have replaced alot of mine more then once. give them your story. i bet they would help.
