Hi everyone, I am new here. I just started making my own lures and did quite well with my musky bucktails on Friday night, although it was a bit messy
Tonight I started making bucktail spinnerbaits and they proved a bit harder. I bought all my gear from Luremaking.com and I don't think the girl quite knew what I had in mind. She assured me it would all work, but he stirrup clevices won't fit through the blade holes, the beads etc. are too small for the spinnerbait wire forms, and bending the wire forms on a musky spinnerbait is pretty hard. Is there a tool I can do this with, or a technique maybe with my plyers that's not too hard for a gal?
I am also trying to find an online tutorial of making musky bucktail spinnerbaits but can't find one. Any thoughts or tips would be greatly appreciated.
Also, great site.
Thanks all.
Joey
