very good, I am building topwaters so weight is critical, is that model number available in bulk? if it doesn't have the premium point I am sure it costs less, so that will be a plus.

Does anyone know where I can get bulk prices on Mustad KVD elite trebles model no. TG7BLN?, or something similar to that hook, it is an extra short shank wide gap in black nickel, size 4....or a decent quality black nickel treble that has a short shank. Thanks Bryan

Could also be the lead alloy, when I first started I had access to lead that was from the hospital , it had some harder material in it and was frustrating to pour . soft lead such as lead boots from home supply centers or properly packaged ingots from tackle making supply houses work the best IMO.
