I made some swimbaits from poplar and was wondering if i should seal before paint/primer? Also would thompsons water sealer work? Whats this minn wax product i hear about for sealing. What other products are out their that i can buy off the shelf for sealing? Appreciate any help. Thanks yall.

I'm looking for an airbrush to paint my swimbaits with and have no idea where to look. Keep in mind i have never tried it so i dont want to get an expensive one to start with. May be a used one??...........HELP..........Thanks.

Thanks Diemai I plan to use SS screw eyes and i'll start with 1" eyes and go from there. Also my baits are made with poplar since i can't find the azek/pvc stuff here where i'm at, its special order only.

What size screw eyes do you guys use for your swimbaits? I making 6" and 8" baits. Also will clear spray paint seal the bait just for testing it out. Thanks.

Baits will be 5-8" swimbaits for bass. What is this PVC, AZEK stuff. Is this like siding for a house? Was gonna try poplar or maybe basswood(found in hobby store)for the first attempt.

I'm starting to get into hardbaits and was wondering what kind and size of wood should i start with. Want to make hard swimbaits, something different from soft baits which i already do. Will be buying wood at home depot or lowes. Thanks.

Both molds are good , i have dels myself. I think it's a preference thing honestly.

I have always been told no do not remelt berkley, never tried myself. If your gonna do it i would say do it outside with a fan to blow fumes away. Let us know how it turns out.
