Like PS mentioned above the plastic may not be hot enough or you may have got it too hot. I use a microwave and mine is 1min per oz. of plastic on high power. Mixing properly is good thing. I also shake my 1 gallon jugs at least once a week reguardless if i'm using that gallon jug or not. Hope this helps.

I may be mixing to thin, how thin/thick do you mix it and do you add glue to it????? Does anyone know if lowes,home depot or menards carries durham water putty. Thanks.

Don't know what i'm doing wrong but can't seem to get a solid piece out of pan. Plaster breaks everytime . What am i doing wrong??? I'm using a metal pan with double sided tape to hold bait down so what is trick to getting the mold out without breaking it?? Someone please give me an idea cause i'm ready to give up.. I'm also gonna try that other stuff mentioned as sonn as i find where to buy it. Thanks.

Does anyone use salt in their lee pots? I heard salt is bad for them and can damage it, is this true or just BS. If this is true i can't wait to get a presto pot. Thanks.
