    Great paint scheme! Grtz
  2. Thanks for the info guys. So as I understand you could use d2t and etex together?.. like d2t for the inside of joints and etex for the outside flanks... sounds interesting... Grtz Jeep

  4. Hi all, I know this must be the no 1000 of this kind of question, but I just have to ask.. I have been using etex for some time now, and altough I really like the looks of this stuff, the thick shiny that is, there are some things that I don't like about it.. The fact that it tends to draw away from sharp edges, wich is kind of a problem with swimbaits, and the fact that it takes forever to dry..especially in cold temperatures as of now in freezing Holland... So I would like to try something else, I have read alot about D2T here but that stuff is just not available over here. I have seen a lot of 'marine ' 2 component stuff... has anybody tried any of those? I think it would also be great to be able to spray the stuff on using a spraygun, I have seen some of that stuff that can do this. Any ideas are very welcome! Thnx

    sealing holes

I have used wood filler (comes in a tube) for wooden lures, and also polyester filler. The polyester is great because it hardens in half an hour, doesn't crimp and is rockhard. BUT it gives you a splitting headache if you don't wear a mask. I guess I'll check that bondo stuff...

  10. Hi all, I finally got a chance to get out on the water and -besides some serious fishing- shoot a small video of my latest bait in action. Let me know what you think of it! Grtz Jeep
  11. I use some clamps that you can buy at an artist shop wich are used to hold papers to a board while sketching. But laundryclamps will do also. Just make sure to clamp real tight and don't remove until the paint is really dry. Grtz

Hi All, Well, I finally got some photo's of my newest swimbait. This one took some time... This is also my first molded lure. It is approx. 9 inch/24 cm long Foiled and airbrushed. MicroFiber fins. It is a slow sinker with a nice s-swimming action. Grtz Jeep

  20. In my experience the segments should gradualy get smaller from the head on, but I have seen some swimbaits that have great action with a big head and tail section and a small section in between... so I'm also curious what you guys think.
