  9. Like Jim said, a Thermometer helps bou'cou'. I was using MF before switchin and I find you have less room for error in your temps with it. Now I pour at surface temp in pot at 326-332 for one pc molds. Will be higher with the MF. Also I did test pours on Bears mold for that lure, and it swims awsome, I am not a bass fisherman but action is great and easy to pour.
  10. Ma' y'all let us know what y'all come up with:teef:
  11. Just depends on what you like. Also what brand plastic. With Calhouns you could use the med it would be fine or add hardner to it and still be fine. With the MF Med is fine, but I think Saltwater would be too stiff. Ma' is all a choice thing really

  13. Just got off the phone with Bear, surgery went better than the Dr. expected, he is back home after the 3.5 hr surgery. He is gona try and be back doin what he does asap LOL PS: Still don't think he can play the piano
  14. It works, I've done this already. When pouring 6 or 7 molds and slightly underestimated the rubber and was hair short on last mold. I would get pc of left over rubber from previous pours and stuff it in corners and it does bind. But one thing I think would work better, but I have no idea how you could do it. I have few lbs of thin RTV from left over mold pouring. If it was ground fine it would work very good to top off molds, but no idea what equipment could grind it up fine. Anyone have any ideas?
  15. I never did use a microwave, but yesterday just so happens I saw 2 fellas using some calhoun plastic and a Microwave. I noticed if the temp was not high enough the first warming there were bubbles in the plastic, then they re warmed it and I imagine the viscosity of the plastic was less and the bubbles released and plastic was clear. They also had Laser thermometer. I pour with a pot and with the thermometer , makes it much easier to make sure you have no bubbles and no scorching of plastic. Hope you get it sorted out soon
  16. For some reason I could'nt edit my post. Anyways I made mistake what I typed, its 100 CFM / sq foot of hook area. YOu can figure it horizontally of open area is good. Sorry about the screw up
  17. 500 CFM / sq foot of hood area at 0 static pressure will work. Granger has a 16" fan that would prob work for your application.
  18. Also, after you pour your lures, you have to wait X number of hrs or so to let it cool and harden up. Usually the next day you will notice a differance.
