  1. I make multiple jointed baits, and they all turn some what to the right. I have some that have a MS Slammer lip, and modified rounder lips of the MS lip, and lip or no lip, they all turn. The degree is obviously different with no lip vs lip. I like the vortex theory!!!
  2. Has anyone ever had any experience with applying bondo to wood lures? I would think it would create a nice hard surface to apply the paint or foil. Would it reduce buoyancy of the wood? I'm talking just a surface coating of it and sanded smooth! Hmmmmmmmmm
  3. Looking for someone who can help me with some Medium TT tails, for a prototype swimbait. PM me please!!!

    Ninja paint job!

This is a modified "MS Slammer" Imitation. 10% Right!! Any way it's about 9" and is a top water bait, unless burned to about 3'.

    Z-Billy Bass #1

Second attempt at a swim bait. First Z-Billy Bass top water wake bait. Bait is 10 1/2" and is made of wood sections. I am currently working on #2.
  7. Mark, I just used that theory for the first time myself. I used Q-Tip shafts to guide, and protect cable going throw some jointed wood parts. Just epoxy glued them in, a few minutes ago. Trying a new hinge system I have been sleeping on for a while. I will take a few pic's, and post them in a bit. The drill size 3/32 did help the wondering problem, and may work quit well with your pin situation. Bill
  8. Actually, borrowed it from another lure for now. I have also made a wood tail, but need to balance it still. It just finished drying from the epoxy resin, and is ready for the true test tonight. Paint it after I know it works.

  11. This is my first ever lure attempt. Just got it all weighted right and it swims like a champ. Waiting for epoxy order to arrive so I can treat the wood and get it painted. Thought I would get some opinions???? Guess I should read how to add pictures!!!
