  1. I use createx. If I am looking for a specific color I mix it. Aside from white I dont use "stock" colors. Even black is mixed. I use a homemade reducer to thin all. Just dont limit yourself to what the manufacture carries.
  2. I used to use stencils. I freehand now. Much more realistic. Baits moving so fast fish cant tell anyhow. Loofas for netting though.
  3. I use an exacto knife handle to hold the belly hook. THen take a tounge depressor and clip that to the handle and to the tail hook eye with small spring loaded clamps. Home cheapo has them for $.39 each. the work great.
  4. I use flex coat high build and love it. You have to rotate about 3-5 hrs then hang at least 24 hrs.
  5. I use t he same reducer formula as matt. Also i tend to thin more as I like using lower air pressure. About 15 psi. A little more for pearls.
  6. Is the issue that we are not buying american made? Or just ko's in general. If an american company made the l.c, mega bass, deps ko's it would be ok? Or is it the people adevertising ko's as the real deal or at the least misleading people. (Which is b.s by the way but you know by the low price it isn't the real deal.) Or is it not buying american made baits. If that is the case why buy the l.c, megabass or depps to repaint if they are foriegn made? Many people don't want to pay the top dollar for those baits to be custom painted. If thats the case then so what. An American is still painting them. Still shipping thru an american company.
  7. I use createx with the homemade reducer. I shoot with an Iwata hp-c+ with a .3mm nozzle. I have not had any issues. I shoot pearls thinned at about 18 psi or so. I always test on paper first. The lower I go the more you can stipple. But thats what works for me. I have found that with that nozzle pearls will clump or shoot eraticly without thinning.
  8. It works fine for me. I had trouble the other day. I shut everything down and restarted no issues. But I had slow download speeds with other sites as well.
  9. Finally getting started painting.

  10. Do you still sell unpainted hard baits? I saw them on your site a while back but nothing now. The link for crankbaits isn't working. Looking to pick up some. Thank you.
