    having been a tool & die maker for 30+ years, "dykem" is no way a permanet dye for steel. it is used to mark metal for cutting, drilling, sawing etc.

    thank you gentlemen, best i can figure out, it was a piece of trash. im new at this & this is my first ab. i thought i had screwd up when i pulled this out my tip, but it is working fine now

    can somebody tell me if there is very small piece of red plastic in the tip of your hf ab? it is not shown on my parts list. & what is it, & what does it do?
