Who has the best price on jig rattles? They are about $0.20 each (best price i've found so far) and that can add up, is there somewhere to get them in bulk for a cheaper price?

I have seen alot of recommendations to use copper wire for tying the skirts but I haven't seen any for stainless. Is there a reason not to use stainless?

Does anyone use Zip (electrical) ties for thier jig skirts? I was thinking about trying wire but zip ties seem like they might be eaiser and work just as well.

How do you hold the skirt in place so you can wrap wire around it? Also what guage wire do you use?

Arky would be better for wood/brush and the bullet would be better for heavy weeds. I am going to use the Eagle claw 730 hooks for flipping. There are many brands but get something .055 to .061+ diameter. If you go to Barlowstackle.com and look at the jig mold you have it will tell you the compatible hooks you can use with it.

Does anyone add a trailer keeper to their jigs? What wire or material do you use?

I want to get started on making my own jigs this winter to hold me over to the spring. My question is what is a good mold to use for a flipping jig? Here is what i'm thinking so far.......... I like the Arky with the double collar but I wanted to use it with a stronger hook than the Mustad 32798. Has anyone used this jig head with the 32796? If not I was thinking about going with the banana jig head. The only thing I do not like about it is the ball collar. Is there room to attach the skirt and a rattle above the collar? Or some way to get them both on there without using the rattle strap skirt collar?
