Are the molds differant or are they the same. Frank

Here you go the top one is Basstackles and the bottom one is Bears. Not alot of differance.Basstackles has pointed skirts. The bodys look pretty much the same. The Basstackle mold has two cavitys. Bears is alot more customizable with inserts and skirts. I guess now it is up to you. Frank

I am not real sure why people say things that are not true and when you show how it is done they get upset. Lets just say someone says it does not work and I post this showing how to use it they get upset. To me that proves it does but if you are not willing to change the way you do things then any change is not good. Doing these videos is a way of me giving back what I learned here. I have posted them here. They have been posted on other sites but not by me. Frank

Well said nova that is why I try and help all that want it. One of the reasons for the videos is to show people how I do it not that it is the only way, just the way it works for me. You have to remember this is a board without faces just keyboards and opinions that are plentifull. Some actually have done it and some just read about it. Me putting up some of the videos has ruffled a few feathers but I will keep doing it. I am not perfect and do not claim to be. My way is my way and if I see something new and try it, so be it. Just like the rest of you all. I will help in anyway I can because this board has helped me in so many ways I cant begin to count.Frank

I forgot Jim, I talked to Ranger last weekend. He was saying his injectors were not as smooth as mine looks on the video. The trick here is to loosen one of the ball handles and leave it like that. It makes it glide up and down with ease. Frank

Just trying to keep it simple. But here you go what do you think of this. And Jim if you want to try it I will send you the block and the center piece to try. I have a few blocks but will need it back. The part on the block is a little thin but it was the first try. Also it is not so intrusive and does not effect the bolck at all. Keeps your hand high so you can see where the parts go together. Frank

Professional I dont think so. My first one came from a 30 dollar camera,then one from my sons phone and the last ones from an HD camera taped to a pvc pipe with a spring clip on it. I think they really get the point across that it really is not that hard. Hoping to get a few more people over the edge and doing something. Maybe you could find some stuff to remelt. Seams one of our new sponsors has one out now at Caney Creek. I am guessing it will fit the same molds. Honestly though a tip that does not come off when you evacuate or take it off the mold is the ticket. I have had them do that and it is real annoying to go fishing for the tip in hot plastic. Now this is just my opinion and know it may get a few people a little upset but the tip in my opinion does not need to fit inside the port. A tapered cone like Jacobs design does just fine. The only thing a fit inside tip does is seal better and cause flashing from to much pressure. These are my opinions and are from experiance in actually using the injectors. Frank
