  7. His new one will look alot like bears but will have the locking tip. tapered cone and a hole small enough for his molds. I you have any of his real early molds you will have to open up the sprue. I know that you will like it. Frank
  8. Yes his new one is a good tool. The hole is bigger and the design is more like other models currently available from others. You were doing the same thing I was with his old one. The new one gets a big thumbs up. He also used a locking tip that you will enjoy. Frank
  9. I have a skirt mold that is real close to the ika one. The tips are not pointed. I can make you any color you want even a two color. These skirts make it easy for me to match colors because it is the same color. Frank
  10. This is just my opinion on this but I think if you cant get it any other place, maybe you should put what you think it is worth and go from there. That is seriously nice work. Your time is worth every pennie you charge. Nice work. Frank

  19. http://cgi.ebay.com/DUAL-ACTION-AIRBRUSH-KIT-Air-Brush-Model-Craft-Nail-80-/310220868335?cmd=ViewItem&pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item483a9acaef This is the type of brush I am talking about. I cant find peco london but this is the same one. Frank
  20. I have that mold and it pours easy and swims great. I do not preffer the flat top but some guys like it. Mine only has one slot plate. The bait has alot of detail. If you want to save a few bucks pm me and I might just cut it loose. Frank
  21. Gary,Jim and BBK to stay on the low side of an air brush try this. Go to ebay and search for a seller named peco london and search his products for a gravity feed brush with a .3 needle. The reason I say look for him is that he has some that are about 26.00 shipped to your door so look carefully and you will find them. They come from china but they work good for thie type of paint. This paint when reduced 1 to 1 sprays very good. 1 to 1 1/2 even better. The brushes are knock off of the iwata brand. The only thing they dont come with is a hose and regulator. Search for a hose on ebay also but the regulator try and get a good one. It dont take a proffesional to use that type of brush. And Gary that paint job consists of a pearl red stripe down each side and dots from a tooth pick dipped in black paint. Of coarse it is injected in two colors first. Thats it. Hey and when you go to get the paint dont forget to get clear so you can add pearl powders to and make some differant colors. Hope this helps and if I find the link to the airbrush I will post it. Frank
  22. There is no procedure I pour and after they cool I air brush the paint on and done. I do not wipe with any thing. I reduce at least 1 to 1 and if I want a softer color I reduce 1 to 1 1/2 thinner if it is cooler I use thinner. If it is hotter I use the retarder. Look in the gallery under rainbows and they are mine. I dripped some paint on another one not in the pic and had to cut the color off to clean it up. Not hard at all. Frank
  23. Are you painting your own lures you made. The reason I ask is cause I read some where on lc site that there paint sticks well to fresh poured baits but if you wait more than a day you can wipe them down with there thinner. I paint mine with lc paint and you cant get it off unless you cut it off. Hope this helps Frank
  24. Very nice pics and congratulations on those nice fish. Hope you returned that crappie he needs to breed really bad. Frank
