Where can I find an iridescent green pumpkin/blue powder paint? I see it on commercially produced jigs. But, I don't see it available for purchase.

Smalljaw, Thanks for your reply! I'll order some of Barlow's blades and weigh and measure to see how they compare to the Hildebrandt blades. I'm not sure why the Hilde blades produce so much better than any other blades. Sometimes the bass just prefer something vs another! I like to fish this #2 blade on a 3/16 oz spinner bait. It's very hard to find a spinner bait this size that will not be overpowered by the heavy blade. But, I found out years ago, this combo bounced off wood will drive a bass crazy (even better than most other spinner baits). It's been a staple in my arsenal of baits for years and something that I can pick up and seemingly catch a fish anytime. Smalljaw, I want to tell you I have been a fan of yours for years! I'm a subscriber to your YouTube channel and look forward to every new one. Thanks so much for the efforts and work you do to help others!! Mike in TN

Once upon a time, I made a custom spinner bait, 3/16 oz, equipped with a #2 Gold Colorado blade. These were made for my own use and never sold. I found this blade on this bait to be very productive. Now, as I go to my "stash" of blades to make more baits, I find I'm down to just a few of these blades. After researching availability of these blades, I found that Yakima had bought the Hildebrandt company and only offer this blade in #3 and larger. So, I'm reaching out to you here on TU asking if you might have some of these blades that could be bought. Please let me know if you have some and how much you would want for them. Thanks in advance, Mike in TN

Anyone know where I might find DT14 blanks? I have found DT10 and DT16 blanks, but no DT14 blanks.

These look really good also! Just wondering, do these Crinkle Colors require any extra attention in applying or curing? Thanks Mike

Thanks, Allen. That's very interesting. As it turns out, Columbia Coatings is only 45 minutes from my house! I'll have to look into what they have. Looks like they are set up for industrial powder coating operations. I wonder if they would sell to a hobbyist? Mike

Quite a while ago, someone on this forum shared a powder paint that looked to be "cracked"in its dried form resulting in a brownish, veined finish similar to a "Copperhead". I have exchanged PM's with Cadman and have verified it was not him. I would like to find this powder paint, or others, to try. I am looking for colors that are still nature-like, but different from the norm and standard colors used on jig heads and spinner baits. If you have any colors you would suggest (and especially if you know of or have the "Copperhead" color) please share it and the source where one might obtain it. Thanks Mifon Nashville TN

I have a couple of Dobyns rods that I really like. I like to hold the rod in front of the reel where I rest my thumb on the line for extra feel. These rods have no foregrip. Without the foregrip, it is difficult to keep the rod from twisting and to maintain control of the rod. Is it possible to add a cork foregrip to these rods?? Would buying a cork foregrip and splitting it, then epoxying around rod work?? Would this be the best solution? What suggestions do you have that might help me with my problem? If I added a foregrip, what affect would it have on my rods? Would it change the balance of the rod? Any suggestions or comments would be appreciated. Thanks Mike

Can anyone give me your skirt tab colors (from FishingSkirts) that you use to make Sexy Shad? Thanks Mike

I'm looking for some 1/2 and 3/4 football head jigs without weedguard and no collar. Must have quality hook, the larger the better (maybe 5/0 or 6/0). If you have some of these for sale, let me know details about the jig, the price, and availability. Thanks Mike

Hey, thanks dawg! Don't know how I didn't see that!! Mike

I am looking for rattles that have a hole through the center and are mounted on the top arm of spinner baits between blades (on tandem blade sb's). An example can be seen in this photo http://stansloanzorrobaitco.com/view.php?type=longarm&color=dtndmwil Can anyone direct me to where these might be purchased. Thanks for your help. Mike

I'm looking for .033" stainless wire for my spinnerbaits. It used to be easily found at Barlow's and other such suppliers. Now, all I can find is .031" or .035". Can anybody help me find a supplier???? Thanks Mike

Thanks Smalljaw and Cadman. I have all the molds on your list, Cadman, except the Poison Tail. I think I'll give him a try. This mold is listed as taking a 28 degree 91768BLN Mustad hook. Does Gamakatsu make a hook that will fit this mold, or are you using this hook? Now I just need to figure out how and where to fish the Snootie and Poison Tail and which sizes fish best.

Acuna, I'm curious - you mentioned you use both the Rattlesnake and Hags worms but in different applications. Where and how do you use each? We have just gotten some of the Rattlesnake worms here in TN (had to order them from a friend in TX). We are still trying to find the best applications and presentations. I know they will catch fish. But, help an 'ole boy from TN out on how best to fish these things:wink:

I need a new mold for weedless jigs. I will be using these jigs to flip and pitch in and around wood. I already have a football jig mold. I would like a jighead similar to the BooYah or StrikeKing. Which of the Do-It molds would be best for this? Are there any other molds available that I might consider???

As mentioned below, I was able to find D2T at Radio Control suppliers. Here's 1 link: 30 Minute Epoxy, .8 oz. RC Adhesive - DEV235 RC Glue and 30 Minute Epoxy, 9 oz. RC Adhesive - DEV233 RC Glue It sounds as if the best buy is at Tower Hobbies as mentioned below. Try: TowerHobbies.com | Devcon 30-Minute Epoxy 1 oz and TowerHobbies.com | Devcon 30-Minute Epoxy 9 oz Hope these links will help those who are still looking. Mike in TN

He guys, Thanks for all your help and suggestions. I was able to find the D2T at a local R/C (radio control) hobby shop. It makes since that those guys would have similar needs to ours! Also, if you are having trouble finding D2T locally, a search on Google for R/C suppliers will solve your problem! You guys are always the greatest helping me solve what ever challenges I have, and this time was certainly no different! I hope this info will be of use to someone else. Maybe the guys in Canada that stated that D2T couldn't be shipped up north might find what they need at a local R/C shop like I did. Again, THANKS for your help, Mike in TN:)

Guys, I've burned the streets of Nashville up trying to find D2T with NO success. So, I'm going to order some online. The problem is there are many products under the name "Devcon 2 Ton Epoxy" that come in many different tubes, freeflow plungers, etc. and in different sizes. Could you guys tell me which is best and which one you use? I will be using this to glue in weed guards onto jigs. Also, if you have a good source, please let me know. Thanks for your help, Mike

Ok, all you wise gentlemen and gurus. I need your help. I want to mold a jig to fish in brush and logs, both casting and maybe some flipping also. I'm looking for a jig similar to the Strike King Pro Model jig or Omega jig. This jig is only for my use (and some of my fishing buddies). I prefer a flat eye. Which mold would you suggest?? Thanks Mike in TN

Red Shad, Take a look here Products > Buzzbait Components > Buzzbait Heads > Buzzbait Heads - Painted Lure Parts Online or here http://www.barlowstackle.com/pdf/molded-heads.pdf Both of these list molded buzzbaits painted and unpainted ready to be assembled. Hope this helps. Mike in TN
